I thank our hosts for

Tuesday, July 27, I posted a photo of my K9 nephew Pup standing by some adorable ladybug rocks he peeps collected this past Spring while they were in Colorado. He told me his peeps artistically turned the plain river rocks into Lady Bugs. Here is the photo again
My nephews Mom told me their favorite camp ground is Priest Gulch in Colorado. She said the camp ground encourages campers to leave painted rocks. She sent me this photo of some of their favorite Painted rocks. Note the Cat top right. She said they could not find the one they left there in 2017
I am imagining some very puzzled geologists a few million years hence!

ReplyDeleteA reinvention of grafitti? Nice idea. YAM xx
How wonderful to leave "painted rocks" behind as little mementoes ... yet it is said they couldn't find the one they had left on an earlier visit ...
ReplyDeleteLove the painted rocks! They make me smile☺
ReplyDeleteThose painted rocks are cool, and dad got a hearty chuckle over the self-cleaning cat!
ReplyDeleteThose are some nice painted rocks. What a fun idea for a campground.
ReplyDeleteI love those painted rocks. I use to be in a group where they left created objects for people to find. A lot of the folks did painted rocks.
ReplyDeleteMoo Ha Ha....love the cartoon.
Those painted rocks are so cool and so is the funny!
ReplyDeleteThe painted rock bed is fascinating! The cartoon is right on!
ReplyDeleteWe think those rocks are cool. Our mom was happy seeing the West Virginia University (her alma mater) next to those cute M & M rocks when they zoomed into them.
ReplyDeleteOh the painted rocks. It's a garden of painted rocks. How fun and I want the kitty one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, my friend. Big hug. ♥
The park that Mom sometimes walks in has two places where people leave painted rocks. Those are all very cool.

So that's what we should do with all the rocks we have in our yard!

ReplyDeleteGreat comic and that is one great thing about we cats rarely do we need a cleaning
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I love making painted rocks and leaving them for folks to find, but none of mine ever come out that nice. XO
ReplyDeleteWe've seen more than a few painted rocks in our campground journeys...but none as original as these!!
ReplyDeleteLove those fabulous rocks - AND the 'toon too - I'm happy to have a self-cleaning cat myself!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Love it
ReplyDeleteThere is someone in our city that paints rocks, tells people he left them in certain places, and lets them hunt for them. People enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely rocks. I like the cat.
ReplyDeleteSome of those rocks are so adorable. It makes me think about the 100 year old gravestones that are barely if at all readable. I do love to explore old cemeteries.
