oooh that's hard to bear ;O)))
ReplyDeleteYikes! That is one big bear!
ReplyDelete"Packing on the pounds before hibernation". Now there's a great excuse!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
No thank you very much. I don't want him as a neighbor.
ReplyDeleteYes, had to fill the fridge for winter ...
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful and so sweet looking and so scary to have one on your porch. I feel sad for them because they have to come in where people live to get food. We had taken away their environment so now they're coming in our environment

ReplyDeleteOOooohhhhhhhh.... loved seeing it - but the mind went in all directions about such a neighbour! YAM xx
Yikes, taht would be beary scary!
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't want to see that big bear walking on our deck. Hopefully they remember to bring in the bird feeders more often so his visits don't become a habit.
ReplyDeleteEvery night; we just forgot. We have special bear proof trash cans. We live on 35 acres, bordering national forest. We respect all our neighbors.😉
DeleteMan, the possibility of that happening here is q00%. But so far, it hasn't. We are deep in black bear country.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. On your deck? Yikes. He's sure a good looking bear though. What a capture. Sorry about the bird feeders.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Big hugs. ♥
OMD! I hope that bear isn't looking for doggies and kitties too!
ReplyDeleteGosh!... and we thought raccoons, opossums, skunks, groundhogs and deer wreaked havoc on The Tiny Ten when we lived there. Maybe he will be thinking about hibernating soon!
ReplyDeleteWe don't feed until the bears hibernate. XO
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in the mountains we had to remember to take in all the birdfeeders! It was a disaster if we did not! Bears can be a bit pesky!
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. COD!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYOW !!!!!!!!!!! ☺☺♥3
ReplyDeleteWoW! Your bear is in much better shape than the ones around here. THe river is too low and we had a big fish kill, the heat and fires have burned the berries. The wildlife guys are putting the road kill carcasses in strategic places to keep the bears out of the larger centers. During spring and summer, bears eat around 5,000 calories a day, but in the fall, they are trying to eat up to 20,000 calories every day! Thanks for sharing your bear!
ReplyDeleteThe Bare Necessities indeed BOL! Great video of that big boy!
ReplyDeleteRuh roh! I love the video!
ReplyDeleteI don't think they make bear proof feeders
ReplyDeleteI would be terrified to have bears walking around my house!
