Great Blue Heron Shelley Lake
This is the closest I've been able to get to heron in a long time. I'm pretty sure he was fishing or waiting.
I love the reflection

I have a couple of crinkle toys too and they are great fun! I loved your video, Rocky! Shelley Lake is just gorgeous and what luck to get so close to a heron!
ReplyDeleteOur cat bro Bert would love that banana catnip toy but...we gave him one a while back and within minutes he ate part of it. He has never been able to have toys because he eats them - worse than a dog, really!
ReplyDeletehahaha, so cute. Rocky really enjoying that banana.
ReplyDeleteGood pictures of the heron. They will let us get fairly close when we are fishing. I guess they are so use to the boats.
i needed a smile and the video did the trick. to precious.. love the new toys and seeing Rocky and Kat.. Herons are so patient, i wonder if they would give me a few lessons

There are few things better than a banana full of catnip.
ReplyDeleteIt is so NICE being here to see you again. Mom is here...still in her nighty so that means she isn't leaving me! I have a peeled nanner, BUT it's just a well made pellet nanner. Not Yeowww. THAT will be a great Christmas present mommy!
ReplyDeleteOh My Cod! Racky! Kat! You guys are the luckiest! Peeled Yeow Nip Nanners that crinkle! We are begging our Mom to see if she can find them for Christmas! And Mom LOVES your photo of the heron. She wants to know if she can copy it off your blog and |play" with it. She will send it to you if it turns out.
