Thank you to our
Recently we went to an old/new place (Not Seaboard Cafe) to have lunch. I don't think we've been to Village Deli in three years. Interior before the lunch crowd. When we left, it was packed!! Village Deli is only about 5 miles from home. When I was gainfully employed, I had lunch there at least one time a week.
They have added local artists paintings.
Great touch.
Our favorite menu items still delicious
Mmmm. The food looks yummy. Er, was there any bacon going spare...?
ReplyDeleteToodle-oo!

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to go somewhere different for a change. The egg salad on grain bread looks good.

ReplyDeleteChange as good as a holiday, they say! Food does indeed look tasty... YAM xx
I will take 1/2 of both and call it good!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe paintings on the wall are wonderful and the sandwiches look delicious!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fun place to eat and the artwork is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteBoth of those sandwiches sound good.
ReplyDeleteOn your FOOD photos, I have not clicked on them to make them big... what a shame I haven't been doing that. Both sandwiches look delicious! I was just trying to see what was in the bags :) I think your old/new place looks cozy and if the FOOD tastes as good as it looks I would be going back!
ReplyDeleteMiss Vickie's Kettle cooked chips!
DeleteBefore my ISSUES I would have loved either one of those sandwiches. they look yummy. can't eat them now but would if I could. I like the idea of local art on the walls, more should do that. I see the TV on, and that made me think, that nearly every where we go now there is a TV and no idea why because everyone in the place is looking at their phones. at least they have them on mute with words to read. we had pizza last week and there were 2 TV on each of four wallls, all on different channels. Soccer, tennis, local news, were the three I could see
ReplyDeleteBoth sandwiches sound delish ~ fun time and place ~ Xo

ReplyDeleteWOW now that looks like a wonderful place for a meal! Great atmosphere and anyone who has fried green tomatoes on the menu (many do here too!) is on my GOTTA GO THERE list. Nice they support local artists too - that's a bonus!

GolDangIt, I'm really sorry I visited your blog today. It's all your fault that I have been forced to go up to the corner Marketplace in 93 degree heat to get my fave-ever sammich! YOUR FAULT!
