This is our picture prompt
These thoughts ran through my mind's eye as soon as I saw the photo
Train tracks around the curve to where?
Unknown places can be an adventure!
Never would I walk there because I'm clumsy
Nearing the end of the tunnel is exciting
Excitingly we rode thru many on Yukon and White Pass in 2005
Light at THE END

I am thankful for each and everyone who drops in to leave comments. I read them all and my husband reads them at night. I always try to comment on your blogs either that day or the next.
Several times a week I have very nice comments from:
"Anonymous" . Would it be possible for you to sign your name?
that's a super arranged poem... and we wouldn't be brave enough to walk there either.... ;O)
ReplyDeleteI just hope a high speed train wasn't coming up behind!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
I know...what gives with anonymous and blogger recently?!! I wish they'd figure it out & fix it.
ReplyDeleteLove your tunnel word prose today.
I agree, it is annoying when blogger won't accept a name and has to be entered as anonymous. I wouldn't walk on a train track either!

ReplyDeleteOoooh, well done Miss C - though I had a bit of heeby-jeeby like Gail did! YAM xx
Love your poem and hopefully, no train is scheduled to be on that track anytime soon!
ReplyDeleteI bet your train head liked that picture.
ReplyDeletemy first thought was what is a train came while the person was half way to the other end, there is no where to get off.
ReplyDeleteI do like your TUNNEL poem though. much more postive outlook than mine. I walked through a train tunnel many times when I was 10 to 13 years old and never gave it a thought
That's a cute poem and a most excellent thankful, we appreciate our visitors too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteSpecial memories for the tunnels on your trip. Thankful for the light at the End!

ReplyDeleteI hope your anonymous person tells you who they are. I love comments too.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Cecilia. Big hug. ♥
That's a great poem for a tunnel. We would be worried about any trains that might try to sneak up on us before we got out of the tunnel. BOL!
ReplyDeleteI love love love all of your "LETTER poems".....you come up with the BEST combinations!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy

You came up with a wonderful poem about that picture. But I have to tell you my first gut reaction the moment I saw it: Wile E. Coyote from the Roadrunner cartoon. Beep beep!
ReplyDeleteI always read the comments in all the blogs and I have read those nice comments from anonymous as well.
