Thank you to our
Would any of you like to know the best sandwich in your state?
My recent issue of Reader's Digest had an article:
The Best Sandwich in Every State.
I don't know people from all 50 states. In your comment, tell me the state you live in or if from another country pick a state. Over the next few weeks I'll be preparing a post about the Sandwiches. I thank you in advance if you participate.
ooh that is interesting... we can not wait to see the sandwich list..... and maybe even the recipes?
ReplyDeleteNo link?!! No problem. I did a Google search. Found Texas. Not surprised at all. Brisket.

ReplyDeleteOkay, I looked the list up... yeeccchhh... there were only two that could even be contemplated by this vegetarian with other dietary restrictions to consider; Georgia (and would, even then, have to request wholemeal over white bread), or Idaho. Gotta love a PB&J!!! YAM xx
Have fun. I wouldn't be surprised if Mississippi was not catfish.
ReplyDeleteWe are all over the place, but our home is in Minnesota. I bet it is a juicy lucy!
ReplyDeleteMy state is French Dip .... not yucky but not my sandwhich. I'll stick with PB&J !
ReplyDeleteWe checked it out and the best sandwich in CT is the clam roll. I've had plenty of them and they are yummy!
ReplyDeleteI found a site that said Pimento Cheese is Georgia, which is my home state and I was raised on pimento cheese sandwich. alos had pineapple and mayo sandwiches. here in Florida it said the cubano, which I have never had, but my grandmother used to take us to a Cuban deli when I was a child, and we had Cuban Subs. I just had one last week.
ReplyDeleteMy home state is Missouri, always will be home :)
ReplyDeleteI live in sad California. Home of crime, welfare and homelessness. You can do drugs on the street and our politicians are a joke.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug. ♥
Have a good time "off" ! I'm in Virginia and if I had to pick a favorite sandwich it would be a big fat juicy cheeseburger BUT I know that couldn't be our state sandwich. I'll let YOU tell me that!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
We are curious to find out what the New York state sandwich is. There are lots of possibilities.
ReplyDeleteGail and I have consulted the list. We are considering moving to Colorado. But definitely not Massachusetts.
ReplyDeleteWe quite like the look of the Missouri 'burnt ends'. Oh and the Utah pastrami burger looks good.
Actually, most of them would do!
Toodle-oo!

I am from Massachusetts. :) Have a nice break. XO
ReplyDeleteWe live in New Mexico...and would love to know what the State Sandwich is!

PeeEss...Enjoy your break! (I'll be away this Wednesday until next Tuesday from commenting).
DeleteI would go for the Alaska salmon or the Maine lobster. I like crab, but a whole crab in a sandwich???
ReplyDeleteWe're in South Carolina and our sandwich has to be something with Bubba in it!
ReplyDeleteIn Massachusetts the best sandwich is the Fluffanutter
ReplyDeleteHmm. I'm from Missouri. I have absolutely no idea what sandwich anyone would claim is ours. If it's burnt ends, yuck. Unless you like chewing your food for five minutes before struggling to swallow. Just saying.
