Thankful and Poetic Thursday #121

From Pup's Family

Dear Friends,
Please know that your kind, compassionate, caring comments have offered us great comfort during this very difficult time.
Thank you for loving our Pup, too.
We will wait until we have Pup’s remains before we head back home.
It will be a very sad journey.
He will live in our hearts forever,

David, Kit, Rocky & Kat ( who is lost w/o his Pup)

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is today's inspiration

Without permission
she signed us up for water babies class

I was plucked out of bed
too early,
what goes
she forgot my clothes.

I have no hair just
this cap on my head

Into the cold water I'm dunked.
As soon as I thaw out,
I'll take a chunk of her hand.

I want my

  1. he is in our heart ... and we watched the sky last night to ss the new star and to say hello....

  2. Hari OM
Oh Kat - I saw how my Jasper became like half a cat after Jade dog passed away... I hope that having Rocky around will help you get over Pup's departure.

And your words for the picture, Miss C, made me smile! YAM xx

  3. aw, I was wondering how Kat was. I know animals grieve like we do.

  4. It was such a wonderful trip and to have it end this way makes it double so sad. We can't imagine the emptiness you feel.

  5. A bit teary here. So sorry for you all. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journeys... I hope you know you will be in our hearts as you make your way home.
Cecilia, the photo is a darling inspiration. I enjoyed your words for the poem... loved your perspective.

  6. I am so sorry about Pup. I started catching up with everyone here on the blog starting with the 29th, when Pup made his journey. XXXXX

  7. We send huge hugs once again to Pup's peeps and to his kitty brothers♥ What a cute poem for an adorable photo!

  8. cute poem on the cute baby... lots of POTP for Kat, I know she is heartbroken, as are we friends of Pup

  9. We were worried about how Kat and Rocky might react to Pup's passing. Our paws are crossed that their hearts heal soon.

That is the perfect poem for that picture. We hope the baby did get his revenge for being dunked in the water. BOL!

  10. We are still in shock over Pup's passing...and can only imagine how his family is feeling. We continue to hold them all in your thoughts.

Such a cute poem to cheer me up C, thank you!

  11. That is so sad about Pup's sudden passing. That was a cute poem. XO

  12. It makes us so very very sad about Pup's unexpected journey to the Bridge.....He was quite the adventurer and we know his leaving has left a big big hole in everyone's heart. As for your poem - it's perfect.....that little fellow is in good hands.....

    Hugs, Pam

  13. It was such a shock, but Pup passed doing what he loves, taking a road trip. He will be sadly missed.

  17. We are just repaying all the kindness you have shown us.

  18. So sorry about Pup!

Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
