Thankful and Poetic Thursday #121

From Pup's Family

Dear Friends,
Please know that your kind, compassionate, caring comments have offered us great comfort during this very difficult time.
Thank you for loving our Pup, too.
We will wait until we have Pup’s remains before we head back home.
It will be a very sad journey.
He will live in our hearts forever,

David, Kit, Rocky & Kat ( who is lost w/o his Pup)

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is today's inspiration

Without permission
she signed us up for water babies class

I was plucked out of bed
too early,
what goes
she forgot my clothes.

I have no hair just
this cap on my head

Into the cold water I'm dunked.
As soon as I thaw out,
I'll take a chunk of her hand.

I want my
BED

Oh Kat - I saw how my Jasper became like half a cat after Jade dog passed away... I hope that having Rocky around will help you get over Pup's departure.

And your words for the picture, Miss C, made me smile! YAM xx

  9. We were worried about how Kat and Rocky might react to Pup's passing. Our paws are crossed that their hearts heal soon.

That is the perfect poem for that picture. We hope the baby did get his revenge for being dunked in the water. BOL!

  12. It makes us so very very sad about Pup's unexpected journey to the Bridge.....He was quite the adventurer and we know his leaving has left a big big hole in everyone's heart. As for your poem - it's perfect.....that little fellow is in good hands.....

  16. While we know that no one can take precious Pup's place, perhaps some day Rocky will have a new "pup" to love.
