Sidewalk symmetry seen while on our mini vacation 2 weeks ago.
Reynolda Gardens, which is located in Winston-Salem, NC
on the campus of Wake Forest University
It reminds me of a quilt
(please come by Monday to see my latest quilt)
All the side walks on the grounds are gorgeous
All the sidewalks lead to the former of the R.J. Reynolds Family.
The home is now a museum
The Greenhouse is now maintained by Wake Forest University.

ReplyDeleteThat really is a very fine paving layout! A very smart place indeed. YAM xx (ps - not a screwdriver - a torque wrench...)
What a beautiful sidewalk -- and property/home/museum! Did you tour inside? I know I'd love to!
ReplyDeleteThe sidewalks are beautiful and so are the gardens!
ReplyDeleteWe love the look of those slate walkways. What a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for taking us along.
ReplyDeleteMy Dad once laid a flagstone sidewalk up to our house, the PATIENCE required! Like putting a puzzle together ... just choosing the pieces is a challenge. Not just for their shape and fit, but also for their color and how they blend well side by side.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely memory of your trip. Beautiful walks, gardens and grounds. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovey place and I have never been fortunate enough to see sidewalks like that. RJ Reynolds. Gosh I haven't seen ads for tobacco and cigarettes in a long time but I used to smoke cigarettes with his brand.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful place. XO
ReplyDeleteI agree, that really is a pretty place and that walkway is super nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty, and if I am not crazy, I think it looks hot there.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place - and those sidewalks with their geometric shapes so perfectly arranged are AMAZING!
