Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy
Here is our challenge for today
I once knew a Corgi
His name was Yogi
He was no Porkie
He ruled the house with a LOOK
He was no fool
he played it cool
He trained his dad well
He trained his dad well
No treats no tricks
He was obsessed with soccer.
He was a lean mean soccer machine.
As soon as the ball was tossed, he ran and ran
around the yard pushing it with is nose.
A perfect game for a vertically challenged Corgi

Love the poem.
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking Yogi did not know that 'soccer' is generally known as FOOTball in other parts of the world!

ReplyDeleteToo cute 🥰... I'm afraid I have a block on anonymous comments: it's what keeps the spam at bay... If Kit has a Google account all she has to do is sign in with that, I believe (though can't confirm that as am already in...) YAM xx
Sounds like Yogi had lots of fun.
ReplyDeletelove the poem, and the corgis are adorable, my son had a corgi and a Chihuahua, they had 5 Chi-Corgies that were precious and then five more. they always had at least 5 at one time..

ReplyDeleteI used to board some corgies in my home, and they were always fun to have around. Maybe Mom Kit could sign her comments "Mom Kit" and most of us will know who commented.
