Just a few answers from yesterday's Symmetry post on this house.
We watched the brick wall being built. The home behind it is probably best described as a brick ranch from the early 1960's. Most of the yard is in the front a bit more addition to the house in the back. Which explains the out door grill in the front where there is very nice patio. As far as permission/code to build the permanent cooking grill in front, I have no idea. The outdoor grill, which was a work of art too, went up first the wall was built around it.

ReplyDeleteI like the kaleidoscope version! YAM xx
Is the taller wider part of the wall the grill?
ReplyDeleteFun to hear why they put the patio in the front yard which that is not usually the normal.
ReplyDeleteI thought that might be the reason for it in the front, there are many homes here who chose to have the house towards the back of the lot instead of the front and in fact our back yard is much smaller than the front. we can't even build a privacy fence in the front, it has to be 4 feet. and we are not in a deed restricted. floidas building codes are so bad a contractor friend of ours moved out of state so he could build what he wanted to build not what he was told. YET they keep building up and up and putting more people per square foot
ReplyDeleteNeon is very strange.
ReplyDeleteThe sepia version is very moody looking. We like the kaleidoscope version too.
ReplyDeleteThe sepia calls to me but I am a lover of sepia filters. Those peeps certainly had a vision for all the brick masonry.
ReplyDeleteThose are some fun effects. It is a cool looking building. Lee and Phod

ReplyDeleteThe neon makes it look almost like a barn surrounded by mountains.
