Mom is a huge college football fan. Her love for the sport is rooted in her relationship with her dad. As an only child, Mom cherishes the memories of Saturdays watching games with “Daddy”. Daddy passed away at age 52, and Mom continues to watch college football in his honor.
This is how we watch football games.
Do you have a favorite college football team?
❤️ Kat, Rocky, & Cali
PS. Our thoughts & prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Helene. ๐

Dearest Precious Niece and Nephews....
Auntie HiC must confess she has a very favorite team the North Carolina State Wolfpack.....but I guess you could say as for watching she is much like Kat...she just doesn't sit down to watch.
Love Auntie HiC
good idea to hide when you team is on the bad way... the mama daid she will adopt that LOL
ReplyDeleteLove the different styles of football watching!

ReplyDeleteCute! For me, Rugby Union is the "footy" though I don't watch on a regular basis. YAM xx
We have never watched college football - only professional and that doesn't happen much these days.
ReplyDeleteI've gotta say- that first photo is me, mom and dad totally.
ReplyDeleteOur Gophers are losers and the coach is full of hot air, so we stick to the Vikings which are normally losers but right now, they have the best record in the NFL!
ReplyDeleteTo each his own. Football and sports are not watched here. I'm glad my husband doesn't like them either. But, with all we have and do love it would leave a very small time he could watch them if he did want to. p.s.: Sister has to evacuate this time because of Hurricane Milton.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's a good thing somebody in this world likes to watch football because it certainly is not me. Thankfully neither my husband. So we're free on Saturdays and Sundays to do something else, lol.
ReplyDeleteDearest Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteWhen we came to the USA in 1983, we left the soccer world and came to American football. Admitting that we only went ONCE to a game of the UGA in Athens, with my American Brother. https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2011/04/royal-wedding-invitation-pieters.html
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
I'm with Kat on this one! But in Canada, the BIG sport is hockey, not football! ๐
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos of you precious ones. Since I have always left the room if anyone puts football or any kind of ball on the TV, I am going to say I have not favorite team. Hubby love the Florida Gators and what ever the team is in college Louisiana,
ReplyDeleteI have tried to like football but I just can't get in to watching it. Therefore I do not have a favorite team.
ReplyDeleteGo Team Kat, Go Team Rocky...oh yea, Go Team Cali!
ReplyDeleteYou kitties are so cute with your different ways of watching football. Our mom got her love of the game from her dad too. We prefer not to be in the same room as our mom when she's watching a game because she sometimes startles us when she cheers or sometimes yells at the TV if her team is doing well or not.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way I'd watch football too. Adorable. We aren't into sports here. It's a good thing. We have two kitties that need our undivided attention.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Love and hugs, my friend. ♥

Like Rocky and his Mom, we are BIG college football fans and can be found watching the Texas Longhorns every Saturday they play(and we are thankful they are doing well so far this season)!
ReplyDeleteHook Em!
Rosy and Mama
Not a football fan, but I think it is sweet your mom watches in memory of her dad. XO
ReplyDeleteThe peeps here like Univ. of So. Cal., Boston College, and Notre Dame, but Dad will watch any game that is a good one. Mom was quite impressed with the marching bands from NC and NCState that joined together at their game to honor those suffering from Helene. Such a wonderful thing to do.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
I love college football. None of the Pro's ever did interest me. Katie said Hey!
ReplyDeleteI would watch it the same way as Kat!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, we never watch any kind of ball games. But it was interesting to see all y'all's reactions to them! XOX Xena
ReplyDeleteWe sometimes listen to the games on the radio. It can be very exciting.
