A funny from my Honey
The CEC (Christmas Eve Crud) gave me laryngitis...BIG time.
My honey is very dry witted.
One day he commented:
"you were a little 'hoarse' yesterday, but today you are a Clydesdale".
After he said it, he was a bit apprehensive thinking maybe I wasn't ready for a giggle
I love Clydesdale horses...It gave me the happies and giggles too!!

hahaha ... good... we love them too... and we love the big horses of virginia...
ReplyDeleteWell isn't he witty....lol. At least you find some humor in your CEC
ReplyDeleteWe live in St. Louis with Anheuser-Busch, so I grew up seeing them a lot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the morning giggles☺
ReplyDeleteNow that is a lot hoarseness! not a word? yep, it let me type it. we find somethings require giggling and hope the giggles did not set off coughing. I hear that these diseases going around tend to linger side effects for a while.
ReplyDeleteHa! I hope you (both) are much better now!
ReplyDeleteGee whiz, you are a poet and don't know it.
ReplyDeleteThose are huge and beautiful horses. Hope you are almost back to normal now.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good one! Horse related so that made it a double treat!! Humor is definitely needed when you have the Christmas Crud. Glad you two are doing so much better... Hugs! I was born and raised in St. Lou and lived there off and on as a married gal. We lived close to Warm Springs Ranch which is the breeding facility for the Budweiser Clydes. We visited often! It's a magical place.
ReplyDeleteThat was a good one from Bryan. BOL!
ReplyDeleteI love those horses too. You did make me giggle.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
