MOM SENDS A TON OF THANK YOUS FOR ALL THE LOVELY BIRTHDAY WISHES YESTERDAY...

TO SAY MOM HAD A COLORFUL BIRTHDAY WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT

SHE BOUGHT SOME NEW WALKING SHOES

WITH DAY GLOW GREEN ALL OVER THEM.

 THE WERE SO BRIGHT I HAD TO HIDE MY EYES.  MOM LOVES VIBRANT COLORS

DAD SAID HE MIGHT WALK A FEW FEET BEHIND HER AT THE MALL IN THE MORNING. MOL

HER ICE CREAM CAKE WAS DECORATED RED WHICH IS HER FAVORITE COLOR

MOM MIGHT BE OLDER THAN DIRT BUT HER REFLEXES ARE FASTER THAN GREASED LIGHTNING.  IF I HAD THOUGHT JUST STICK MY TONGUE OUT INSTEAD OF SNIFFING I WOULD HAVE HAD LICK

OF THE CAKE!

Yesterday at 9:30 am they took the stomach tube out of G-pa.  They  started him on a liquid diet of jello, broth, juice and coffee which he will have for 3 meals.  If all goes well, he will be on a soft diet tomorrow. THIS was his 3rd major obstruction in 4 years...we are hoping he will realizes he has to CUT some things he likes out of his diet...such as

French baguettes...which are hard as rocks and hard to digest.

We both thank you for all your purrs and concerns and we'll keep you posted.

UPDATE on Grandpa:

He is still in some pain and the blockage has not cleared.

Prognosis is not clear they are still trying to clear it with the stomach tube.   Purrs and Prayers that it clears and that this time he REALIZES HE HAS TO CHANGE HIS EATING HABITS.

On Wednesday night at 11:30 pm my Grandpa

had to be taken to the hospital. He has another

intestinal blockage.  I won't go into the gory details of how they hope to clear it up....but HE CANNOT have any more surgeries.  Please keep him in your prayers. Mom has several post prepared to auto

post and we'll keep you updated on G-pa.

MY CHRISTMAS TREE REPLACED THE CHAIR FOR DECEMBER.....

I ENJOYED  LOOKING AT IT TOO.

 THE WHITE CHAIR WAS MOVED TO THE CORNER BY THE DINING ROOM TABLE. MOM PUT A SHEET OVER IT.....BUT

WHEN MY SIS SAW IT COVERED, SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE WORRIED ABOUT SPAGHETTI SAUCE GETTING ON IT THAN THE SUN FADING IT.

I THINK SHE WAS IMPLYING MY DAD IS A MESSY EATER...WHAT DO YOU THINK?
