Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Ding dong the appendix is gone.

Thankful to report my appendectomy went well, not problems.  We got home about 2:15 yesterday.    Thus far there is not pain.  I was kinda dizzy for about 2 hours but that passed.  Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and purrs.  I prepared today's post and Friday's earlier this week.  I hope to be back full speed ahead by Monday. 

Last week when I saw this week's photo challenge, I was tickled it was something I could quickly write.  After all Ice Cream is my unofficial middle name.

  For sometime, I have had an off and on twinge in my right side. Since I am an avid walker, I just thought it was a pulled muscle. However, recently during a routine medical tests, a slightly unhappy appendix was discovered.  Thankfully it never decided to have a hissy fit. Today at 11:15 I'm having an appendectomy via laparoscopic surgery. I'm not sure how comfortable it will be to sit for long periods of time.  

I prepared the remainder of this week's post last week.  I hope to be able to add  post surgical update to Thursday or Friday.

Monday, August 16, nephew Rocky, had his annual physical.  To quote Rocky's mom: he can be a 'pistol' to get in the PTU. It was decided they would take Pup along 'cause we all know Pup is everybuddy's buddy.  It worked.  I rec'd the following account of the trip from Pup.

Dearest Auntie HiC

Rocky went to the vet for his annual check up and vaccinations.

I rode along for moral support, (and I love to ride).

Only one human is allowed in the office, (COVID) so Dad went in with Rocky, while Mom and I checked out all the pets coming and going.

Mom identified each breed to me, while assuring me I was the most handsome of all the pups

I kept my eye's on the door. Then I said:

We are very happy to report 

Rocky got a great report, on his health and behavior. He was even super duper champ while getting a mani-pedi!!!❣️
