Hey Friends....I missed you all and thank you for all your nice comments while I was away. I had a grand time with Miss Debbie...she always leaves the peeps a note on the last day of her visit. Mom LOL when she read the following: "Madi really likes her Fancy Feast...she ate very well"!!! Like that was a surprise... The peeps had a wonderful time visiting with their friends at Oakwood Vineyards in Boonville. Their friends were the ultimate hosts. They drove my peeps all over Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin Counties to tour these wineries, Buck Shoals, Flint Hill, Salem Fork, Sanders Ridge, Shadow Springs, Shelton and Stoney Knoll. Lucky for them they purchased a favortie wine at each location. They were excited to taste some of their friend's delicious Blueberry wine. The peeps told me this part of NC is absolutely their favorit spot. Here are a vew pictures they took....including the collection of wine they purchased.
Sounds like your parents had a great time Madi!!!

Those look interesting... though we lives here in the Napa Valley mom knows so little about wine... a tea-totaller all her life. Ex husband was a tour guide at a winery though.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adventure! I have never been to any of the NC wineries, they look lovely.
ReplyDeleteStay cool - I hear these days are suppose the hottest in NC this year!!
