Thursday Theme Song: Good Luck Charm

Today's Thursday Theme song is in honor of St. Patrick's Day!!!
We thank Hootin' Anni for hosting this musical delight.

Here we go with Good Luck Charm,
song by Elvis Presley, lyrics and music by
A. Schroeder and W. Gold
.
Don't want a four leaf clover
Don't want an old horse shoe

I want your kiss 'cause I just can't miss
With a good luck charm like you
Come on and be my little good luck charm
Uh-huh, you sweet delight
I want a good luck charm a-hanging on my arm
To have, to hold tonight.....

This pretty green eyed Irish lass if from our Countries of the World
Madam Alexander Doll Collection.
Don't want a silver dollar, a rabbit's foot on a string
The happiness in your warm caress
No rabitt's foot can bring.

If I found a lucky penny
I'd toss it across the bay

Your love is worth all the gold on earth
No wonder I can say, come on and be my little good luck charm

We hope you enjoy the King Elivs singing this peppy song in the video....and to quote the Big E
thank you, thank you very much!!

  1. Oh, we are swooning over Elvis and this song.

The Irish Lass Madame Alexander doll is adorable, we didn't know you collected them. But best of all is our darling Madi, definitely a little good luck charm.

  10. How wonderful and appropriate that you chose this today Madi! Great choice.
We thought it amazing that your Mom also has the travertine backsplash -- our oiled bronze medallions are fluer dis les. Which Mom also found on the hardware pulls and it is also in the wallpaper in the kitchen.

    Happy St Patrick's Day

  15. Gotta luv Elvis!
Thanks for the limerick... for some reason they've been hard to come by this year. Is it possible that the bad economy has caused a decline in rhyming skills??
