*EVIL YELLOW DUST (OF THE) DEVIL
IS WHY I'M PURRFECTLY HAPPY SITTING ON MY BOX
INSIDE THE HOUSE.
BEFORE SUMMER COMES POLLEN SEASON/SPRING
IT ARRIVED OVER THE WEEKEND. MOM WROTE MY NAME IN THE POLLEN ON THE SUNROOF OF HER CAR.
THIS IS A LIGHT COATING. BEFORE LONG IT WILL BE
SO THICK YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO TELL IT IS A WINDOW.
THE CAR WILL BE COATED AS THICK AS THIS LEAF. IF MOM AND DAD OPEN THE SUNROOF THEY ARE INSTANTLY SNEEZING
THIS IS MOM'S TIRE COATED IN A LIGHT DUSTING OF
POLLEN
THIS IS THE CULPRIT....PINE POLLEN
THE NEW PINE CONES SPROUT THESE PINE PODS
IN EARLY SPRING. N.C. IS FULL OF PINE TREES AS IS OUR YARD AND EVERY TREE HAS 100s of these little devils
THIS IS OUR FRONT PORCH KITTY..
HIS JOB IS TO RUN THE EYOTDD AWAY FROM OUR PORCH
BUT HE USUALLY FAILS!!!
THE POLLEN IS ALL OVER THE FRONT PORCH TOO. THE BEST WAY TO GET RID OF IT IS WITH A HOSE EVERY DAY OR THEY WILL BRING IT IN THE HOUSE. IF MOM SWEEPS IT SHE'LL BE SORRY. HOPEFULLY BY THE END OF APRIL IT WILL ALL BE GONE!!
ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
NOW THAT MOM IS RETIRED OUR BLOGGING
VISITS WILL BE OFF BY ABOUT 2 HOURS...SHE AND DAD
TAKE A POWER WALK EARLY IN THE MORNING
THEN RUN ANY ERRANDS...BUT DON'T GIVE UP ON US WE'LL BE BY SOMETIME DURING THE DAY.

Eww, the dreaded evil yellow dust! It makes me sneeze just to look at it but I do like the windshield with Madi's name. We see just a tiny bit of it here but nothing like what you are getting.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun way to spend the morning, enjoy!
Hugs and Purrs,
J and Cindi Lou
and the Krew
Wow! That is some kind of evil yellow dust! Good thing it doesn't bite.
ReplyDeleteHere's to spring and sneezing at ya!
~Lisa Co9T
Got the same thing here Madi, Yucky! Today, heavy rain. So that will help and my car will get clean too! Love, G
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh....this is something else. I think I'd be chopping down some trees. LOL....Nah, not really, but ohhhhhhhh the suffering for a month, huh?
ReplyDeleteAnd.......you go girl!!! Power walking. That's super to hear.
Madi,
ReplyDeleteWe gots about 87 million pine trees in our yard so we know all about dat yellow stuff at my house too. My mom hates it cuz her is constantly wiping it off everything. :)
Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae
Yikes, that's a lot of pollen! We don't have a lot of pine trees in our neighbourhood -- other kinds, but not pine.
ReplyDeleteBTW, our mom thinks it's great your mom and dad are power walking first thing! Way to go!
-Fuzzy Tales
Yuck that is alot of dust, your poor parents. I bet you are happy that you are an inside kitty Madi!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some serious pollen, I sure hope you don't have allergies!!!
ReplyDeletePower walking in the morning sounds like good fun and a great way to stay in shape too ...enjoy :-)
We have all sorts of junk in the air too this time of year.... You just take your time to come and see us....and if you find something really fun to do and don't get to it -- we will always be here so just ENJOY and we will see you when YOU have time! We totally understand....
ReplyDeleteIt's just a matter of time before Buddy will start turning yellow, then we'll have 3 yellow Labs! Ha!
ReplyDeleteWell...if a Diva cant sit on her box, where can she sit?? Very cute Madi!! Oh we could never live there, Mom is very allergic to pollen!! Just the thought makes her sneeze!! BOL

I'll be jealous of Mom for the next 4 years or so. Happy retirement.
ReplyDeleteThat pollen is a booger.
MEOWZA!!!!!!!!!!! That's exactly what we are going through with the Live Oak pollen here.....and our mama is terribly allergic and just wants to sleep all the time.....and she sneezes and sneezes and sneezes and has such horrible headaches.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your pollen woes are soon over.
We love you darlin' Mads, Mom and Dad.
Eek! We are glad we don't get pollen like that here. We don't get a problem with tree pollens. The worst we get is grass pollen if it is not eaten down by the horses.
ReplyDeleteWe had that pine pollen in Montana but not here by the sea. It would actually coat the edges of the nearby lake and float there for several weeks.
ReplyDeleteHugs and wags, Mistaya and Maggie and Gail
We have that too. It's about the only thing our Daddy DOESN'T sneeze at!
ReplyDeleteBTW, how is your Mom's catsitting gig?
Whoa! LOOK at all that yellow dust! We don't have much of anything like that here but my dad has still been sneezing his head off cuz the wind has been blowing stuff around here lately. You're smart to stay inside, Madi!
ReplyDeleteAnd I went "SQUEE!" when I found out abouts "Bulldogs are Beautiful" day! Imagine! A whole day just to celebrates our beauty.
Wiggles & Wags,
mayzie
That's looks pretty bad pollen to me!!!
ReplyDeletePower walking I do that all the time, mom has to run to keep up lol!!!! is that what they make you do when you retire!!
Have a good week
See Yea George xxx

ReplyDeleteWe have the same evil pollen around here and it's been in full force for a few weeks.

I'm not too sure about that front porch kitty! He seems to be missing quite a few parts! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on retiring! As for the pollen... Yikes...
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Ruthie
LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour car looks like my spaceship!
Time to clean off the pollen, but they don't have a drive- through big enough around here. :)
Yours,
My mom also has crazy allergies! It makes her kind of grumpy, but don't tell her I said that!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Pollen is terrible for your fur...best to stay inside
ReplyDeleteDo you have "Love Bugs" up there?? they have not arrived here yet, but will soon :(
We don't have pollen up here yet, but we will and it will be thick and yellow and it will make our noses run and we will all sneeze a lot. You might have something there, with the staying in, Madi.
ReplyDeleteNo pollen here either!
ReplyDeleteBut it does not look well!
Glad your mom and dad are enjoying nice walkies!
Take care
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
