In my humble opinion, one should spend one's Gotcha Day doing as one pleases...BUTT evidently Mom doesn't share that opinion.
Last Wednesday, May 11, my 9th Gotcha Day, Mom came home bellowing, 'Madi look what I have for you'!
I was napping and not the least bit interested in
THE CUBE....
However, after I got my nap 2 hours later I decided to check it out.
I gave it a sniff but decided I was hungry so I yowled politely
asked mom to feed me. The cube followed me downstairs!!
After I had proper nourshiment, I gave it another sniff PERIOD!!
It sat in this very spot until....
It sat in this very spot until....
Two days later (Friday May 13) Mom decided it was time to show me just how much I liked it. Yes she tricked me by throwing in my fav tote toy.....
I went in half way......
Came out in the blink of an eye, gave it one last look....
I think this picture pretty much speaks volumes.....
I'm not at all impressed. Does anyone know how to post things for sale on eBAY?
Thanks Madi
Well even I can see it's the wrong color! I wouldn't have anything to do with it either! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Madi, when my Mom brought one of those things home for me I saw her "pop" it out before she put it on the floor. I have been afraid to go in cause it might "pop" flat again while I'm inside.
ReplyDeleteIf you figure out the eBay thing, let me know. I have one to get rid of too.
Purrs,
Cindi Lou
MOL... All you don't need go to eBay : ) Great Idea !
ReplyDeleteBut I got no idea how...Sorry, Madi
Craigs List would be easier! LOL Boxes are just better, right Madi?
ReplyDeleteHahaha! We think that's hilarious, Madi. We have lots of stuff that the mom thought was so cool and that we would like, but that we shun. We did have a cube like that, though, but Nicki enjoyed it so much (truly) that he made short work of it and it ended up mostly shredded. :-P
ReplyDeleteAnd here Mom wanted to upgrade you from the plain old cardboard box to something more "Diva like"!
ReplyDeleteMOL and BOL
You are one tough cookie to please!
I still would love to give you chin scratches!
Kathy
Bawhahhaahaha! I bet you could make LOTS of money selling this cube to other well-meaning cat moms on e-bay. That second to last picture of you looking back at the cube just CRACKS ME UP!!! So very diva like!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Why don't it has any bling on it? Dat could be da problem. Your mom bought a blingless condo fur a Diva!
ReplyDeletePuddles
Madi, our moms are tricky aren't they? If you get on Ebay, please put that horrible pawprint blanket that my mom got for me to get it out of this house!!! Lots of love, Holly

And me, well, I just feel sad I didn't get to say, "Happy Gotcha Day!" Anyway..."Happy Gotcha Day"! I hope it was super terrific and I hope you gets lotsa green papers from when you sell that cube thingie so you can buy yourself lots and lots of Nip!

Hi, Madi!
ReplyDeleteI am sure your mom bought it for you with the best intentions... but sometimes... there are things we really don't like, right?
Good luck on E-Bay!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza

ReplyDeleteMadi, we have 3 of those things in our house and we hardly ever use them either! Well, 'cept Ernie. He likes to push the cube all around...he's pretty strange sometimes.
