DEEP THOUGHTS

Yesterday,  my BFF, Mayzie ,the most beautiful brindle gal in the world, had a very special post entitled Deep Thoughts. Mom and I thought it was 'most beautiful(i.e. most is Mayzie's most favorite word) .  At the end, Mayzie asked what we thought about...so Mayzie I hope you don't mind we are copying you.
Mom says copying is the highest form of flattery...Mom has so many sayings ramblin' around her brain!

Mayzie has a Thinking Tree...

I THINK BEST WHEN I'M WARMING MY FLUFFY SELF IN A SUNPUDDLE.

As I told Mayzie, I'm a kitteh and I have very deep thoughts that I'd like to share...I just hope
Mom types them correctly!!  Here goes!!

Thoughts on Food:
1.Why does mom use the teeniest measure cup she has to put my kibble in my bowl?
2. Why does mom divide my stinky goodness can into 6 parts…I can certainly eat it all at one time?
3. Why do I only get 2 meals a day and the peeps get 3?
4. Why do I have to remind Mom every day at half past starving it is time to feed me?

Well you can see where this is going, I think with my tum-tum and not my noodle.

Thoughts on Peeps:
5. Why do the peeps go and come so many times of day?  It disrupts my REM sleep pattern!!
6. Why does Mom sit at the silly 'puter giggling when she could be rubbin' me.
7. Mom makes up the big bed everyday...doesn't she know I'm going to need a nap?
8. Why doesn't Mom put her balls of yarn in a Yarn Jar when I could be playing with it.
9. Why does Dad continuously pick up all the pine cones and branches that fall in the yard?  Waste of time!!
10. When I'm sleeping why do they feel an urgent need to TOUCH ME?

Thoughts on miscellaneous matters:
11. Doesn't that tree rodent outside realize it is rude to shake his fuzzy butt in my face?
10. Why don't the birds don't come in my house to serenade me?
11. Who invented doorbells?  They are quite alarming and invasive.
12.  Why do my sunpuddles move?

LAST BUT NOT LEAST MY FRIENDS BONUS QUESTION:

What do you think about and where do you do your best thinking?

Mayzie and Mom thank you for making us smile each day and for the inspiration you give us.
Hugs
Madi and Mom

  4. You have really deep thoughts Madi. We thinks the sun puddles must stimulate your brain cells and cause harder thinking.

We think about why those leaves keep falling in our yard. We are chasing one and then another one falls on our nose. Miss Cindi has a chair beside mom's desk where she does her thinkin'. We kittens like the sun spots on the patio.

  5. Oh Madi, my Madi...you're thoughts are purrecious. What do they say? "Still sunpuddles run deep"...at least it's close.

I especially liked the furry butt thought. Oh gimme a break...I have always been a 'butt' person. rofl

Seems once again, I'm trying to catch up. Gotta go check out your themesong for the week. Been another busy few days for us.

Oh, and Tahoe and Winston wanted me to tell you that the musical boxes game you invented at your open house was just a riot. Furry Fun!!

Thanks for stopping by to visit.

  11. Whew! You sure do think deeeeep thoughts, Madi. I am Most Perplexed by why sunpuddles move, too. Just yesterday, I was laying in one on my bed and it kept moving and moving until I finally had to just hang my head off the side of the bed so I could soak up the last teensiest little bit of it. It's a mystery, for sure!

And Abby says she agrees 110% about the teensiest measuring cup!

    Wiggles & Wags,
    Mayzie

PeeS. I think you're super inspirational too!!

  14. Wow, Madi, Mom must have done a "Vulcan Mind Meld" to get all of your deep thoughts out! LOL

I especially love #6. She's giggling at her friends on the computer, we all love to keep her smiling! :)

And for #10, your peeps can't resist your angelic kitty pose while you sleep!

  18. WE have to totally agree. Mayzie is wonderful and we loved her post on the deep thinking. But your post Madi is every bit as good. We love your kind of thinking. Our Mom is always just giggling at the darn computer when she could be playing with us. There are so many of us here, I guess we all have different thinking spots. We don't think Mahoney, the kitten takes time to think. Mom will have to watch us and see just where we do our best thinking. Thanks for copying Mayzie. We love it.

  19. Deep thoughts indeed Madi! I wish I knew all the answers ... especially why sunpuddles keep moving!

  20. I think you've posed some very good questions. Let me know if you ever find the answers... especially the one about not getting 3 meals a day.

  21. You certainly do have deep thoughts, Madi. My four tell me that they wonder why I go away and stay for such a long time, when home with them is the very best place to be.

  22. Those are all good thoughts Madi.

That's a hard question to answer in one comment section. As my mind is in a constant whirl.
