FOYER FOLLIES

BREAKING NEWS
Mom here: I got a chuckle out of the 'comments of surprise' about Madi being on our table yesterday.  I've been owned by cats for nearly 25 years and have never found away to keep them off counters and the table.  Rest assured, should you come for dinner, the table is thoroughly cleaned before a meal.
Madi here:  AND rest assured I insist that Mom thoroughly clean the human cooties off it before I put my lucious tush on it!!
*****
Now back to our regularly scheduled program
*****
Today I'm going to take you on a tour of our foyer closet where the peeps keep their coats, boots and other various and sundry things.
I expect you have one a closet like this in your house...
There is nothing particularly wonderful in here it is just a place I
rarely get to explore.  Since  I'm in here, let me show you the rest of the closet.  If you tell Mom I let you see the next few pictures, I'll be eating bread and water for a month.

This is what the rest of the closet looks like.
It is packed full of bags and bags and bags of colorful yarn.  I especially like this color called Passion!! I believe there is
enough yarn to make a complete wardrobe for a herd of elephants.
Mom says it is that time of year and she is making lots of presents.
Personally I think she is a hoarder and might need some intervention!!

Oooops I've been caught red pawed in the closet so I'll
put on my innocent face and

pretend I've been taking a nap NOT showing the world Mom's clutter of yarn.

  1. Wow that looks like a fun place to explore. We don't have closets like that for coats here in the UK, but wishes she did. She is definitely a horder. I'm pretty sure that Narnia is through her wardrobe in her bedroom. Mummy says she would love a walk in wardrobe, but daddy says she would need big strong walking boots to get in there hee he. :)xx

  3. Oh...oh.... I think you are probably showing things your mom wants to keep private. I would like to get my paws on that yarn though. It's fun to unroll it.

  4. Don't worry Madi, we won't tell your mom you gave us a tour of the closet. Our mom just said not to get any ideas about showing off our junk, er I mean, well organized closets. Yeah, right mom.

Hey Madi, we think it's great you get to explore your table. I never go up there but when Sissi Cat comes inside she jumps up to explore everywhere. I tell her I'm gonna tell mom but she doesn't care.

  8. The closet does look like a pawsome spot to ignore, Madi!

BTW, most of the time we stay off the counters and dining table when the mom's home and awake, because she makes us get off if do get up. But of course we're up there when she's not looking or is not around!

  9. Madi, all of that yarn would make a cushy napping place!
    But don't unravel any!
Mom makes some very nice presents with them.

  11. Oh yeah, we have tried to keep my feline siblings off the counters, but no luck. Nothing works! I am only sorry I can't join them. I am pretty sure they are having a party up there and I am not invited. Drives a dog crazy!!! Maybe I should add doggie stairs leading to counter as part of my operation couch demands. What do you think?

  18. You sure are lucky, Madi. Did you know my mom won't let me get on the table? When it comes to kittehs and doggies, some things are Most Definitely separate and UNequal!

Anyways, thank you for a tour of the closet. It's a very nice closet and looks real comfy with all that stuff to lay on. Kinda like my mom's closet. Only I'm not sure you could actually get in there without something falling on you and squishing you.

  19. Hey Madi, what's a closet without clutter?

That passion color is so pretty. Mom had a few crochet projects going before the Big Bad Break, but they are all on hold now:(

  22. Tsk Tsk Tsk Madi ... there are some things mom's just don't want to share. But since you are so loveable, well, we'll overlook breaking the rules!
Thanks for these chuckles this evening. Hope your week is off to a great start. Kramer is enjoying himself since the noise levels have lessened as folks return home.

Mom said she agrees with your Mom! She couldn't keep us ALL off the top of anything if she tried so she just cleans a lot! :)

    Guess what?
We have a closet in our house like that too, it's Mom Christmas closet. She stashes stuff she buys through the year in it, and then she surprised when Christmas rolls around as she can't remember what she has bought over the year.

    :::hehehe:::
    Our Mom is a nut!!!

  25. Madi - we'll never tell Mom that you "outted" her. Actually I think everyone has a closet like that but we seldom share it. Thanks for "keepin' it real"!
