AFTER CLOSE INSPECTION
IT IS MY CONCLUSION
MOM IS DOING A GOOD JOB OF
KEEPING MY KITCHEN IN ORDER AND CLEAN
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED,
MADI
Mom is a pretty good egg so I told her she could share the following pictures of HER fine feathered friends with you.
She is all giddy about these visitors...
They are Cedar Waxwings.
Mom thinks their facial markings make them look like bandits
They winter in our area but Mom rarely sees them. Yesterday
there were dozens and dozens of them in our backyard and at our birdbath. They normally migrate to our mountains in early March
Mom says the mild winter must have them confused.
Note the red tips (thus wax wing) on their wings and their yellow tipped tail

Luv those waxwings. We don't haf them here. It's probably a good idea to keep the good egg (mom). It would be way too much trubble to train a new one! Your furriend always, Prancer Pie.
ReplyDeleteYou really are a very good snoopervisor... your mom needs you...
ReplyDeleteThose are interesting birdies! We don't haves enough birdies here! The dogs scare them..... I thinks! Or its us looking out the windows at them!
Ohh trust us Madi, your mom is doing a GREAT job. If you take a look at the housekeeping done by our mom, you'll know what we mean.. hehehe...
ReplyDeleteThose birdies are very pretty!! The birdies we have here are rather boring cos they are mostly black.
Well Madi, we know that your Mom could not do it without your expert snoopervison.
ReplyDeleteWe would be excited too to see those little birds in our backyard, we can understand why your mom is so giddy with delight. That little touch of red and yellow really makes them stand out, they are cute.

ReplyDeleteI know you love watching the feathered friends, too, Madi.
I quite agree, those Cedar Waxwings are so pretty, and she even got

Good Pictures Mom! Inspector Madi is doing a good job! My Mom definitely needs to know how you keep your sink so tidy! BK
ReplyDelete=)
ReplyDeleteWe are glad your mom is working well - we know sometimes we animals get fed up with our humans but it is better than having to do all the mundane tasks ourselves! Hard with no thumbs anyway.
ReplyDeleteWe loved those birdies - sorry they are confused! How come you don't chase them away?

I agree you should keep her! LOVE the pic of the birdies!
ReplyDeleteMadi, that is pretty exciting to have those cedar wax wings in your yard. They a really are pretty. We have never seen any of those.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, good job Madi, inspecting the kitchen. It looks good to us too. Hope everyone has a great day. Please tell mom we are about to put her scarf on the auction.
Take care.
You kitchen looks ship-shape to us too :-) They are beautiful birds and yes they do look like bandits - LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteWe think you should definitely keep your mom Madi. We like the fevver pictures. We have seen some waxwings in the fields in the last week. They rarely come to us, only when the weather is very cold. Ours have crests on their heads. We think they come from Scandinavia.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautful...one of the most beautiful birds with their satiny looking feathers. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh I love their little red tips on their wings! Hope they stick around so your mom can enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
P.S.: I have a new haircut - just in time for the Valentines' Day Dance.
Mom's are always good to keep around.

Dear Madi,You are obviously a "white paw" inspector, which means you see EVERYTHING. So if you say Mom is doing a good job, then you must be right. Don't tell Mom I said this, but you're way prettier than those birds!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea to keep Mom.
ReplyDeletep.s. Madi, she has the password to your blog, so you might need her!
