IT IS OUR HONOR TO PARTICIPATE IN
THIS MOMENT {SEE BEAUTIFUL}
TODAY I'D LIKE TO TELL YOU HOW I
CAME TO BE IN this family
Mom was raised with dogs...yep not a
feline in her past :GASP::
When Dad was a boy, his family had a wonderful cat named
JOHN yep dad has always been a Cat man
Uncle G was living in NY. My peeps and my sis went to
visit him. Mom and my sis fell in love with these wonderful kitties.
Mom and Ursala became fast friends in the wee hours of the morning when mom awoke to Ursala sitting on her pillow playing with her hair. WTG Ursala!!!!!!
All the way home to NC there was talk of getting a kitty
Mom, Dad and my Sis adopted
Milky-Way...yes he was recycled kitty
Milky-Way...yes he was recycled kitty
they found him at the SPCA.
I owe MW a great big thank you for being such a good
kitty
My peeps gave my sis her first Cornish Rex Kitty
Cali for her 21st bday. MW and Cali were the best of friends
MW was the ultimate gentleman he always put Cali's comfort first. |
Madi 3.5 months old....testing her boundaries... |
That is a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWTG Madi.....that fridge is yours! That is a beautiful story.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & roxy
Madi, those cats before you were certainly awesome, but I see they did little to prepare your humans for your adventurous self!
ReplyDeleteMadi Madi Madi that is a BEAUTIFUL story. Beautiful brings those together that should be. I also thank those that came before you.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose

We would never have suspected that your mom wasn't always a cat person. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteAll those who came before you did a pretty good job of paving the way and that is very beautiful. We love the photo of you in the fridge.

It's so wonderful to hear the story of the cats who came before. We esepcailly love the recycled kitty. Recycled kitties are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely story. It is strange how many people are scared of cats isn't it.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe that last photo Madi, you are a rebel!
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
It is nice when other animals help break your people in. MW and Cali seemed like great kitties. We would have liked to play with them. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteGreat story! Kind of the opposite of my mom. She had her first cat at age 7, once she turned 18, she had many cats but then one day she got a dog and that changed her from the crazy cat lady to the crazy dog lady. We still have two cats, and Mom says she will always have cats but she enjoys dogs so much because we can do more things with her. You are an awesome kitty with a beautiful story.
ReplyDeleteMadi, we sure are glad those other cats paved the way for you to have such a good home and get spoiled as it should be. Besides, your Mom needs watching over to keep her straight and you do an excellent job at that too which is also beautiful. Take care.
ReplyDeleteAwwww Madi that was a lovely Furiday story. My Mom never had cats growing up. We love all the pictures and we hope you got some Noms out of that fridge..BOL xxooxxx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
I love that photos of Cali and MW... that is so sweet and so is the baby mayor in the fridge... great story Madi, glad the other kitties led to YOU... the reason I don't have and never had cats is the fact they play with hair during the night, walk on stomachs and wake people up.... i love kitties but not being pulled out of sleep in the middle of the night...
ReplyDeleteOh My MADI that's a talent to open the fridge. Lots of precious kitty memories. LOVE the name Milky Way. Happy Seeing Beauty. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. What a beautiful story of all who saw beautiful in your extended family before you. And you're seeing lots of beautiful in the fridge! Love it. Happy seeing beautiful.

ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
That was a wonderful post, Madi. So beautiful! I think Milky Way is a super cool name for a kitty! Thanks for sharing your memories with me and if you could tell me the trick, how you could open the fridge, that would be nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of MW and Cali together looking two heads coming out of one body!!! Do you remember the a push-me-pull-you from Dr. Dolittle :-)

Your BFF's

That is such a fitting name-- Milky Way. That kitty really had all the proper colors for a milky way!! MewMewMew My mom has always had kitties while she was growing up. It has only been the last 10 years she has been strictly a dogs mom. Not on purpose, it is just working out that way. She says so many times her heart yearns for a kitty cat. She keeps hoping a kitty cat will follow her home or that she'll find one on her doorstep sometime but so far it hasn't happened. Yet.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Cats are kind of a mystery around here. Love the last photo Madi!

Madi you are one of a kind!
ReplyDeleteMillie & Walter
We LOVE that photo of you checking out the fridge, Madi!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the stories of the kitties who came before and who turned Mom into a cat lady! :)
That was a beautiful and fun post pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteOk, Madi you know I love you but I'm quite stunned that your mom gave up having a doxie for getting a cat. I think she should be able to have both. You would love a little doxie sibling, right? Great post and it is fun to see your older siblings.
ReplyDeleteVery nice pics of the cats that came before. Mom says she had 2 cats that came before, one of whom opened the 'fridge door by laying on her back and pawing the door open, then her littermate sister would climb the shelves. Our VET said she never knew kitties who climbed 'fridge shelves until she met Mia & Shadow! And, apparently, you're a shelf climber, too. Good work, Madi, dear
ReplyDeleteYour twin,
Tipper
Glad they found you.
ReplyDeleteThanks to the previous felines you are the honored Diva today, Madi!!
ReplyDeleteHugs and nose taps,
Kathy and Molly
I hear that a lot to , Madi = NONE OF THE CATS IN THE FAMILY
ReplyDeleteEVER DID that ! :)
XOXO
Nice of them to pave the way for you....but I bet you are the BESTEST ever.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely story of how the cats who came before paved the way for you.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it just takes the right kitty to do the trick and I guess Ursala was that right kitty for your mom...Lucky for your mom cause otherwise she never would have had the wonderfulness that is YOU and then where would she be? Thank you for sharing a bit of history with us Madi {hugs} and *smooches*
