Saturday Photo Hunt AND QOFH

PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FIND THE LIST OF
SATURDAY PHOTO HUNT WORDS

TODAY'S WORD IS

R I P P L E:  FORM SMALL WAVES

I am confident if I fell in
this pond it would  form a multitude of small waves.....why

Because this 11 year and 10 month old
kitty has never ever been in water and I plan to keep it
that way

  2. We suspect if you should fall in that beautiful pond you would move at the speed of light and walk on the water back to dry land. Most of us have never been in the water either except for Miss Georgia. When she was an itty bitty little kitten she ran up to mama. Her lower half was all wet. It took mama a few minutes to figure out she had climbed into the toilet and all two pounds of her flew out. Mama never did figure out how she climbed in there since she was so tiny.

  6. You might not even make a ripple. If you were headed toward the water...you might just magically fly away from it. I know we would.

    Beautiful photo.

    Have a great day.

  7. Hi Madi,
Would you like me to calculate the size and number of the ripples that would be created if you fell in that pond? I would be so happy to do this if you could only supply me with the following data: your weight and dimensions when in the falling position, size of pond, depth of pond, height from which you will be dropped, contour map of base of pond, weather conditions at time of experiment (it won't work if the pond is frozen).
I think that should be enough.

  11. We think you should avoid falling into a pond, Madi. Especially in winter. It's really too cold for a swim!

  12. Hey Madi!
Wow, what a pretty pond and I'd love to go swimmie there! I'm sure you wouldn't like it, but I could take you in my canoe so you wouldn't get wet. Then you'd make ripples and still stay dry! Oh, that would be fun!

  14. Madi I know you would kitty paddle for all you are worth. When our late great sweetest Z Cat fell off our dock when we lived on the Lake, her beautiful green eyes bugged out and she made her neck long like a goose and she paddled all the way to shore(which wasn't too far, we were ready to jump in and get her)and that little swim was a great way to get rid of old furs.. :) There was no ripple, there was a wake!!!! Enjoy your Saturday Madi!

  15. We've never been in a body of water either, but puddles sure are fun to splash around in.

  16. We hope your DRY FURS continue... you don't even KNOW how lucky you are to never have been tortured by the water boarding and soaps thingys.
That is a super use of the RIPPLE effect.

  18. water is the best - unless its bathwater and then it's not fun at all!

  19. Make sure you keep well away Madi. I don't want you creating ripples.
Mum wondered where the pond is. She said it looks familiar and she doesn't know if it is somewhere she has visited, or if she has seen a photo of it before. Maybe it just looks like somewhere else.

  20. We hope you won't ever have to find out the kind of ripples you would make in that pond. ;)

  25. My tuxedo Putter is not overly fond of water either and after her great escape a few weeks ago, she had to have a bath.

It was a hair raising experience for 2 adults and 1 cat.
