Sniffin' and Smilin': Cairn Terrir Style

GOOD MORNING FRIENDS....
OH DO I HAVE A BIT OF MONDAY MEWS FOR YOU.
AS YOU MIGHT RECALL, SATURDAY I MENTIONED MY PEEPS BROUGHT A STRANGE SMELL HOME WHEN
THEY RETURNED FROM THEIR MINI VACATION.
KEEP READING BELOW AND YOU WILL FIND OUT
ALL ABOUT THAT SMELL......

IT CAME FROM THIS HANDSOME DUDE
MacGyver...Gyvie for short
(mom thought his peeps were saying MacIver but that was wrong)
The very moment my peeps arrived at Gyvie's house it was love at first sight for Gyvie and my peeps....
I must admit I did not find his smell offensive at all.
In fact, the only thing I really sniffed was mom's shoes.
Mom said Gyvie sat on the floor at her feet looking at
her with his gorgeous eyes that melted her heart..
She patted the couch cushion and up he jumped.
Mom looks all kinds of happy....she said MacGyver
no even my own adorable kitty will sit with me.
This is very special....
Gyvie followed my peeps everywhere they went...
I told mom  maybe he was making sure they weren't after the
family heirlooms...Mom said nope he just adores
all peoples.

Dad was also smitten with MacGyver...
he actually sat with Dad a lot....
I heard MacGyver was quite a good host. He kept them all laughing at his terrier antics.  This particular picture was taken
after they had been outside sitting on the porch. Gyvie's attempts at deading a varmit in his yard had been halted by his Mom.
As soon as he got in the house, he ran to his toy basket,
picked out this unstuffie and shook the dickens out of it.
Mom said that was probably what he wanted to do to the
real varmit.
A good time was had by all...and it appears from this
photo that MacGyver was sad to see them leave...
but Mom says never fear MacGyver they
have been invited back in the fall....

So until then MacGyver...have a great terrier life.
Thank you for looking after my peeps and making
them smile.

  13. He is ADORABLE and Madi,, in the first photo you appear to be giving Mom The Look out of those slitted eyes. Gyvie looks just like Ann's Duke only gray instead of white... what a fun place to visit.

  28. Gyvie was cute Madi but certainly not as cute as you and we know he just helped make your M & D stay away from you just a little easier to take because they missed you so much!

  30. He is a cutie! It's sweet of you to share your peeps for a short time. :)

  31. Aw, Gyvie is so cute. Looks like he took to your peeps as much as they did to him. But at least it was only his scent that your peeps brought home although he might have been fun to play with (at our house the number of cats might have intimidated him into a heart attack).
