Dumpster photo from Mayorz Murphy and Stanley and I thank them because their inquiry as to JUST when
mom expected to finish her punishment made her get busy!!!

She was able to find a clean box that fit my tush to a T!!
THANK YOU TO ALL MY FRIENDS WHO KEPT
ASKING WHEN SHE WAS GOING TO DO A DUMPSTER DIVE...NAGGING PAYS OFF.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!
A MYSTERY

What in the world is this?
Hopscotch or a sinister plan by the City?
When the peeps went to the grocery store on Thursday
the street was normal.  When mom  went out to get the mail,
she found all this mess. It goes almost all the way
down the cul-de-sac!!

My friends at Trout Talkin' Tabbies  are always
MOLing at mom's 'chalk' writing on my photos
Kitties I'm thinking Mom had a chalk party on our
street!! MOL MOL

Obviously it is something the city is going to do and we are sure we won't like it.  All the peeps have to say is they better not
mess up our new driveway!!

Glad Mom finally did the Dumpster Dive and got you a new box! It's great having a court in Blogville.

SHE had a pet raccoon when she was young.

  7. That box is a perfect fit! We don't like the look of those chalk marks either. Hopefully it won't mean lots of racket outside that disturbs your beauty rest.

    Dumpstered her!!!

Well, the lines are not even enough to represent possible placings of speed bumps; nor level enough to show a widening of the verge; ... looking closer I wonder if all the arrows are highlighting the cracks in the tarmac... or could these be to do with cable laying - superfast etherwebs perhaps???

My sister (in Edinburgh) and all the residents in her street got a notification from council about their road being closed for maintenance - SIX WEEKS OF IT - so at the very least you ought to check your local paper for public notices.......

Anyway up, trouble's brewin' methinks! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  11. A few years ago the council came round one week and chalked up our street, indicating where the newly created parking bays were supposed to go. Two days later, from a different council department, a road crew came round and resurfaced the street….
Hope there's more joined up thinking in your neck of the woods.
    Cheers! Gail.

  12. Oh that means the guys with the south-going pants will arrive on your street soon....place the cam on the window :o)
My mom was a dumpster diver once too, she threw her car key with the garbage in that big box....she found the keys and a hoover what was like new... we never used that thingy, it probably was a tool from the crime scene cleaners :o) but she wore no hat and glasses, that was a good idea from your mom to dive "in-mom-nito"

  21. We are glad your mom finally finished out her sentence! After all, the decree issued at the Court of Common Fleas CANNOT be ignored! Now that is a mystery in front of your house. If it was us we'd ask the mayor!

  28. Yay to your Mom for the dumpster experience - she scored a box for you! As for the chalk in your street - I'm thinking it may be alien hopscotch! OR, maybe it's like those mysterious crop circles only these are crop squares???
