FLOWER FRIDAY!!
WE ARE HAPPY TO
SHOW YOU OUR BLOOMING YARD.
2. Sugar's
Red bud blooming. This tree is especially beautiful...why...

with tiny little *heart shaped leaves.
we didn't plant it. All of a sudden one day we notice a twig
with tiny little *heart shaped leaves.
On Thursday Mom noticed the hearts were starting to pop out....they are so tiny.
*After the blooms are gone these gorgeous heart shaped leaves will
fill the tree. The tree is about 9' tall...so just imagine that much
tree filled with hearts. It makes for lots of very special moments.
Below is a picture of one of the leaves from last year to show you their size.
Once the tree is full of hearts I'll take another photo

ReplyDeleteYour yard blooms are so pretty. Mom would love to have a redbud tree. We have two of those purple ash trees that may one day be invaded by that evil bore. Mom wants to replace them with redbuds. If only she knew how to do a graft, she is sure our neighbor would share a few clippings with her:)
ReplyDeleteSweet little Macey, we all have her in our thoughts and prayers.
