Happy Monday boys and girls. You might recall this collage from Friday 5/29/15
I told you how much I loved this box and how it was full of delightful scents...
This box and I are old buddies. I love sitting in it for lots of reasons..
It is in Dad's train room, I'm only allowed in there with supervision. You know we kitties are intrigued by closed doors!!
There are lots of pointy things in there and lots of itty bitty pieces that a kitty could knock around.
I know you might find it hard to believe but I have never once tried to
'help' Dad with his project....
I DO, HOWEVER, LOVE THIS BOX because IT IS LINED WITH SOFT
CUSHION PACKAGING TO PROTECT HIS TRAIN AND
OF COURSE TO PROTECT MY ROYAL TUSH!!!
I love looking at all his trains...'cause they are (in boxes) pretty and shiny
and some of them smell good too.
But most of all I just enjoy sitting here watching Dad work
Best of all the cushion matches my furs purrfectly
Time to move on the flashy beast found me
Oh did I mention this room is over the garage and there is another set of stairs in the room.
They are not straight like our other stairs. They have a turn in them and it is fun to
zoom up and down.
Dat looks like one purrfect box!
ReplyDeleteBoxes are the best, Have fun in there Madi

We were going to suggest that Dad just give you that box. But then, we thought if you're like us, you'd find a different one to be your fave...
ReplyDeleteOh! If my human had a train set like that (and she does love model trains with a passion!), I would SO want to help out!
ReplyDeleteOh your dad has a wonderful hobby...it's great to work with this old trains and to get them running again. I bet efurry piece has a history and I would like to sit in a box with you, watching your dad while pondering about the story behind this trains....

You are very restrained Madi, our late cat brother would have been batting those little pieces all over the room!
ReplyDeleteThat box is just right for you, bet you and your dad spend many a happy hour in there together - the room not the box :)
Dip and Elliot x
I bet your dad likes having you in there to supervise. Rosie would try and help and end up breaking something. She is quite clumsy and bossy and would surely try to "remodel" the trains.
ReplyDeleteMadi, that does look likee the purrfect box for you and it does match your furs. Those trains look like great fun. You all have a super day.

ReplyDeleteOMC I too am fascinated by trains! How lucky you are to be able to sit and watch dad in such comfort, your divaness!!! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Now that surely is one very special box, made exclusively for you, Madi. It looks quite comfy.
ReplyDeleteAnd stairs with a turn - the BEST for doing zoomies - when we do that, we get the "take it outside" command.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
you do match the lining to the box Purrrfectly... i bet those steps are fun for a kitty and not fun for a daddy. it sure is nice of him to share his boxes with supervision OF Course.
ReplyDeleteBoxes are lots of fun but when they come with cushions, it makes them extra special! ;)
ReplyDeleteI know you kitties are famous for getting the zoomies. Especially if you are going to beat us 2 leggers to a place.
ReplyDeleteYou never ONCE have helped your dad with his trains??? WOW Madi... that must mean that you are the ... MODEL .of Restraint... BaaaaWaaah that is a Model Train Pun fur you.
ReplyDeleteOMC OMC the BOX... T H E box... the BEST Box... and you only see and use it on rare occasions... That must sort of be like the Christmas stuffs that are only out fur a few days each year... (NOT TALKING ABOUT THOSE EVIL SNOW FREAKS... they last fur EVER it seems).
We love that THE Box has a Soft Liner that Matches your furs and Cushions your Tushie...
That could be a special bed for you when you visit your dads room. stella rsoe
ReplyDeleteHow nice of your Dad to have a soft cushie tushie box for you to supervise from Madi!! Daddies are SOOOOOOO pawesome!!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!

How fun to watch dad work and get to smell of and sit in the pretty boxes! Those steps sound fun for a kitty cat, too!
ReplyDeleteMy 9 yr old male cat, Ditto, is in emerg. surgery this a.m. with a growth in his mouth. Will let you know when I learn more. He is my mama's boy.
What a special box Madi!! for special times. You know our Mom's dad worked on trains like you dad, until his Parkinson's got too bad for him to do it. Thanks for bringing some fond memories for mom

You're right about those locked doors we always find them intriguing too. I bet you and your Dad have a lot of fun when he goes and gets his trains running!
ReplyDeleteA box with a cushion!! Smart idea!
ReplyDeleteYou have to keep tabs on your peeps, Madi!

It sure is fun when you hit the box jackpot pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteOH, that BOX! With it's cushy cushion... we think we're in LOVE! Isn't zooming on turned stairs the best fun? Purrs...
ReplyDeleteNice tushy cushie in that box! I called my Dad to the 'puter when I saw your Dad's train stuff though....my Dad is a "traindude" but doesn't have a lot of train things....at least YET. Anyway, I think it's nice that you keep your Dad company while he does train stuff.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy

ReplyDeleteMadi that looks very exciting!! We used to have a huge train set in the garage for the little peeps to play with when they came, but now the little peeps are big peeps and don't play with trains any more!! I spect your dad is a closet little peep, yes? MOL
ReplyDeleteThat box is perfect for you Madi. Your Dad should have his trains on display, not in boxes.
ReplyDeleteWe love getting a peek into your dad's secret train room. You sure look comfy in that box.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice box but we are wondering about the extra secret stairs? Sounds like this is his Man-Cave!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
There's some cool stuff behind that closed door! When the head peep was a girl, her father had a small train set that the cat would stalk. We're sure you wouldn't do anything like that, though.
ReplyDeleteWe think the train room looks like a super cool room.
ReplyDeleteThat box was made for you, Madi!
ReplyDeleteI like this room Madi and what a perfect cushy box for you to sit it and watch your Dad!!
ReplyDeleteSee you at the dance.
Loveys Sasha
That box sounds purrfect for a Diva. Our sister cats like to keep Dada company while he plays on his computer too.

**GASP** Madi! Thank you for giving us this link when you came to visit us! Our CatDaddy, back when he was with us before he made his trip Over the Rainbow Bridge, he collected trains! Some of us younger ones don't remember it. He liked what he called the "HO" sized ones. Mumsy used to make trees and mountains, and paint tiny little people for him. We and the woofies (yes, woofies lived with us back then too) weren't allowed in The Train room. She thinks she may still have one of those foam boxes in storage! We gonna look this weekend! Thank you, Madi!
