Mara is a talented photographer,writer and knits beautifully, Ms. Oswin is matriarch of the house,
and Brom is a darling Teddy...click here to visit them.  We met them back during Sarge's Recruit a pal event.

..I have an adopted K9 brudder, Ziggy Stardust.  His furry sis Angel Sasha was my gal pal.  I knew the little tike needed a furry sis to help him along the way...click here to see my handsome brudder

Shirley you aren't hungry..is what mom says to dad every night about 8 pm when he comes downstairs for a snack...even after a big supper.  Dad replies Shirley I am, aren't you!!

LAST BUT SHIRLEY NOT LEAST...EVERYBODY NEEDS TO  KNOW WHAT A GREAT NEWS and OBSERVER DELIVERY PERSON WE HAVE .  PICS BELOW TAKEN YESTERDAY MORNING.  THIS IS ALL SLEET AND ICE with a dusting of SNOW...
 IN GOOD WEATHER OUR PAPER IS LEFT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DRIVEWAY;
HOWEVER,  SUNDAY MORNING OUR DELIVERY PERSON WALKED IT UP TO
OUR FRONT PORCH!!! Mom called the NandO distribution manger to tell him what a 
great delivery person we have!!!

  4. How nice of your delivery person to do that... and of your Mom to call and give your delivery driver a chance to be recognized for going above and beyond. We hope everything is back to green -- or as green as it gets this time of year -- soon!

I will write my shirley-post this week too :o) hugs to you delivery person, such nice people are hard to find. my granny's deliverer is probably Dennis the menace, he wrote a note that my granny's mailbox is wet from her roof... but he placed the papers there anyway :o(

  16. That's a brilliant service from your delivery guy!! Our postie who delivers the mail, always comes back specially if there is a parcel and no one is in!! Otherwise we would have to travel miles to pick it up from the office!

  24. Your paper delivery man must be related to ours - he is so good to Mom - he leaves our papers at the top of the driveway right outside the garage door when the driveway is icy - it has just enough of a slope to make it treacherous for Mom's old bones.

  28. OK, so my assistant is mighty slow ...she has been trying to figure out who the heck Shirley is for DAYS! She just figured it out. Only took about two weeks. Senility is setting in early with her.

  29. OMC You do have a gweat delivery purrson. We can't subscribe to da newspaper even ifin we had da gween papers cuz they stop on da highway and fro it into da parkin' lot of 24 partments. And well, whoever is up at 4 am when they do dat gets da paper, and it's usually not da one payin' fur it. MOL have a gweat day and stay warm.
