What we do when it sleets

ME before mom made the bed

ME after mom made the bed
it was cold and dreary so I went under cover.

 MOM

OMCs we had about 1" of sleet/freezing rain on Friday. Saturday morning it started snowing and
snow off and on all day.  Good news is the snow left a nice powder surface on top of the sleet...easy walking.  We might thaw out by April.  Our house faces North.  Mom said Gracie, the Highlander has about a 1/8" ice coating.

  1. We love the cardinal...so beautiful. Glad you're leaving out some food for him. Our VA relatives are under LOADS of snow, but enjoying it at the moment....wait for the thaw and slush...yuck. Don't get too cocky about easy walking on snow and ice. anything can happen.

  6. Very wise, Madi! That's a lovely quilt you are hiding under MOL. Snow can be so deadly, but it looks beautiful when you're nice and snug inside!! Stay warm xoxox

  7. I don't like to go under the covers. But Mara says two of her previous kitties were always hiding! How did they see anything?

Our snow is gone now. So, I could finally go out again. Finally!

  10. OMD/C! Just look at your cardinal! His red is so brilliant against the snow! We have a pair of cardinals in the back yard now. The gentleman has been fighting with his reflection in the sliding glass doors every morning. BOL
