click here to be reminded about the
BRING IT event!!
The most special thing about my state? I live here! Seriously, it's the only place in the U.S. where my human feels comfortable, with the exception of New York City - she REALLY feels at home there! Everywhere else, she just feels like a visitor. It's an expensive state to live in, but she is willing to pay the premium for the freedom to be herself without being seen as weird.
ReplyDeleteWe too have a magazine with lots of stories about the area. It is called the Leopard. And no, we do not have leopards in Aberdeenshire. Of course, what we do have is a wonderful variety of beautiful, unspoilt landscapes - mountains, forests, moors, clear clean rivers, empty beaches, cliffs - all available for exploring.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
We has our own magazine too, Texas Monthly. And obviously we luvs our state, look at da name of our blog.
ReplyDeleteThe bestest thing about my state is Pepe's Pizza in New Haven! yummmmm
ReplyDeletewe have our own magazine too... but there are not much pictures, just reading stuff why we needed a new christmouse-decoration for 5k bucks in our kraal and why this is not wasting money but appreciation of a community to attract tourists... so please come all to see our christmas decoration or our mayor has a problem :o)
ReplyDeleteMom says our shrimp sure is! She went on vacation to Kure Beach and had lunch there.
ReplyDeleteI am sure our state has a magazine too. Will have to check that out.. And you probably right, the fish is probably very tasty on the coast. You all have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteWell, our Argyllshire has an ONLINE magazine to find all that is happening around the place. We are known for our seafood too - longoustines... like mini lobsters or extra large shrimps and the big restaurants in the cities go mad for them! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
I like that our province has socialist leanings. Quebec sees itself as a "distinct society". I love the hills and lakes.
ReplyDeleteWe have one called "Mississippi". It's more of a tour guide though.
ReplyDeletei am sure FL probably has one but i have never seen it. i don't read magazines of any kind but now that you mention it i am betting it is out there. hold on..be right back. YEP there is one, 22 dollar a year for one a month..
ReplyDeletehttp://www.floridamagazine.com/ and it looks a lot like yours... who knew..
WE are just Learning about living in Pencil Vane E Ah... Butt we think that the bestest thingy SO FAR is the Peeps being SO FRIENDLY and HELPFUL.
ReplyDeleteMom loves books like that. We may have to look into getting her a prescription. We mean a subscription
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Lily & Edward
Mama still gets our Texas Magazine...but she also gets the California Sunset magazine too...There is SOOOOO much to choose from in our area, but we think the Redwoods and the beaches are the bestest!
ReplyDeleteSmileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Well...I mean, I live in TEXAS. Do I really need to say anything more??
ReplyDeleteBOL at Casey's comment! We oribablynhave a Kansas magazine that mom doesn't know about but we also have a Johnson County one that has really cool stuff about all the happenings in our area. We are so wishing we could go to the big meet up.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Ciara and Lightning
Hey you guys! Tell your mom there is indeed Kansas Magazine and it's beautiful! You should check it out!
DeleteY/s,
Mags
We think you're asking why Mackie has more black furs than I do? Airedale puppies have lots and lots of black furs and a lot of those black furs will fall out as he grows up and he'll have more tan furs like I do.
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! We have our own magazine, too. Oddly enough, it's called Kansas Magazine. Original, don't you think? They've shared some of our mom's photos on Instagram, which thrills her to pieces. Whatever. We were in one of them!
ReplyDeleteWe love our wide open spaces here - the rolling hills and the vastness of the prairie! We also love the Kansas Ocean, of course, but I haven't seen mention of that in Kansas Mag -- so I have to wonder how well they know our state!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We have Bison here, on Antelope Island in the middle of the Great Salt Lake!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley

ReplyDeleteThe things and places I love in Missou-REE...
ReplyDeleteOur wine and the great restaurants, restaurants especially in St. Louis
Lake of the Ozarks
Four distinct seasons
Big old Oak trees and birds
The rural and agricultural areas
The St. Louis vibe
Schnucks and Dierbergs grocery stores
I could go on and on... :)
I would like to know what you love about North Carolina... we came very close to moving to New Bern.
Madi, is that 87 years in human years or cat years?:)
ReplyDeleteOur state is Massachusetts- We have a lot of history here and places to see like Plymouth Rock. Dr. Seuss was born is Springfield and his museum is there.
I love Our State magazine!
ReplyDeletehugs to you both!
Well, hound ears and shorter tails are not the breed standard but we love Mackie just the way he is.
ReplyDeleteWe don't really know about a state magazine but we imagine there is one. We do get one for our city that comes in the mail once a month.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if we have a state magazine either pretty Madi, but we keep ranking near the top in great places to live.
ReplyDeleteWe have a magazine called Space Coast Living that is all about our little party of the Space Coast.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
your guy Raz and The Florida Furkids
We don't know if our state has a magazine, Madi. If we do, we haven't seen it. What's cool about our state is that it looks like a mitten. And when someone asks where we live, the mom can use her hand to show them. ;)
