Today I am pawticipating in Sparks
Sparks are all about spreading cheer and positive vibes via quotes.
There was a big fancy coffee station at the Ophthalmologist office last week.
So of course I had to sample it. As soon as I touched, 'touch here to start',
this message appeared.
I thought this quote was perfect for a Sparks Monday
I like my coffee black no additives. I come from a long line of coffee drinkers.
In My Mind's Eye, I recall many many happy conversations and gatherings
with coffee as the center piece.
WE have an eye appointment today for my better half to be fitted for new corrective lens now that his cataracts are gone. Even with the old glasses he is already seeing clearer and crisper colors.
I'll catch up with you later this morning.
Hugs Cecilia
Gail likes coffee too. The stronger the better!
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that the cataract operation seems to have been a success.
coffee is a magic potion, eggs-cept da berds used it as a litterbox LOL We are happe to hear good news about the surgery and we wish you all the good luck for your appointment today...
ReplyDeleteLike those quotes. I have never been a coffee drinker. But you make it sound yummy. You all have a great day.

ReplyDeleteTotally allergic to coffee - I am the exception to the 'happy place' rule!!! YYAAYY for the eyes!!! YAM xx
Dad will be so much happier now that he can see clearly.
ReplyDeleteI have to have milk and sweet and low in my coffee. Guess I'm not really a coffee drinker. Only have the one cup a day and that's it.
The Dad only drinks black coffee too. Good luck on the lens fitting.
ReplyDeleteThe coffee quote is just perfect! Lots of luck to Mr Bryan!
ReplyDeleteYes, coffee is a great centerpiece to many a wonderful conversation. I agree and shortly I'll be having my coffee.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week. Big hug. ♥
If you like coffee then that is the perfect quote for you. Our mom isn't a big fan of hot drinks so she doesn't drink coffee or tea.
ReplyDeleteMomma is weird -- she not only hates the taste of coffee, she hates the smell of it too!
ReplyDeleteI love my coffee too! And it does transport me to better places. I am so happy to read of the successful cataract operation for your husband. Imagine how well he will see when he has the right lenses in front of his eyes! What wonderful neww!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom has GOT TO Have her coffee otherwise it's bad news!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy with my new eyes and still am, even though I do have to still wear glasses, my sight is so much better without those cataracts. I do love coffee but not black and did not start drinking it until age 28, my parents did not drink coffee. they had one cup of gag a maggot instant coffee each morning. it was horrible. now I am hooked on it and if I miss my first cup you don't want to be around me. I can miss food at wake up but not coffee. love the message. our office also has cookies and crackers and cheese. I neve touch it because of germs

YAY !!!!!!!! ☺☺♥♥
Mom is very picky about her coffee (and her tea). She doesn't like Starbucks coffee, but does like their specialty drinks. She is a Paul Newman decaf fan:)
ReplyDeleteHope the eye appt. went well.

I am glad the eye op went well and Bryan's vision is improved already. I like good strong coffee but it needs a dash of milk in it. No-one should speak to me before the first cup or they must face the consequences!
ReplyDeleteOUr peeps love their coffee too. Glad that Bryan's recovery is going well. Mom's bubble is getting pretty small but vision still blurry but seems to have improved a bit.

Yep, this Spark is purrfect for the mom. If she doesn’t have her morning coffee...look out!
ReplyDeleteI have been drinking coffee since I was a kid. :)
ReplyDeleteI truly don't function until I've had a cup of coffee. I add creamer but don't mind drinking it black. Did you ever have a percolator?
ReplyDeleteOh, that's funny. Mom doesn't do coffee but she does love her tea.
ReplyDeleteLove my coffee but I too didn't start drinking it till I was about 28.
ReplyDeleteGetting cataracts off was fabulous. Only one thing happened that was hard on me. Seeing my face clearly. I actually thought I looked better (lines etc) than I did until the surgery. THEN I saw them clearly. Holy Moly!
Ma likes coffee sort-of, she has to have lots of sweet stuffs, cause it's usually too bitter. she has yet to find coffee that isn't. sigh.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy abouts your hubbies surgicals bein' a success! YAY!!! One day Ma looked in the mirror with her readers on, and she had a horrible realization that she look much older than she thought! BOL!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Oh Wow! I am a coffee addict too!
