Today we join Two SPOILED CAT
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
In this program she was giving 13 Buffalo exams before they were going to be sent to Russia to be a part of a breeding program.. |
Dr. Michelle Oakley
Yukon Vet
by Angel Madi(son) D Cat.
There is a show on NatGEO
It's is all about Dr. Oakley a Yukon Vet
She is always on the GO,heading to and fro.
She works on domestic pets at her home.
When she hears the call of the wild,
out onto the tundra she roams.
She knows no fear she will treat any wild thing far and near.
I even saw her poke a bear.
Once out to a buffalo farm she was called.
She chased a buffalo who charged the truck.
Too bad, so sad that Buffalo was slam out of luck.
She is full spunk.
She is full steam ahead just like Old Faithful.
No matter their speed, when there is an animal in need.
She is an expert with a dart gun and with one puff of breath.
He was down for the count.
She is petite and very quick on her feet, he had met his match.
In no time at all she covered his head with a towel
went right to work on him 'cause that is what she Loves...
she does it with such ease.
oh that must be a super interesting show... maybe once in some years or centuries this show comes to ole europe too, so we can watch it ;O)))
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, I want a bison burger.
ReplyDeleteDr Oakley sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe love "She is full steam ahead just like Old Faithful".
Being 'quick on her feet' sounds like a great skill to have in that job! What a woman.

"She went right to work on him" brought visions of bison steak. I guess that thought sure went the wrong direction!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great poem and informative too!> Mom has seen loads of buffalo. In the foothills north west of cCalgary, friends with ranches raise beefalo (cross between Buffalos and Cattle) they have some pure bred buffaloes as well. They are big but are really not any more dangerous than range cattle.
