Photo inspired by the crew at Rocking and Rolling in the Rockies.
R and Shyla's mom takes the most amazing photos of everything in her beautiful State. Her sunsets
at 8,200' are breathtaking. Thank goodness on Friday night October 12 at about 6:30 pm
I notice a glow coming into the kitchen window.
Knowing how quickly sunsets disappear, I grabbed my iPad.
This is straight out of the iPad just pure luck!!
I don't think I have ever been able to capture 4 colors in a sunset. I even caught a reflection
on the car too.
Thanks KB.
I'm trying to keep My Mind's Eye wide open for photo ops.
Sunrise October 14, 2018 @ 6:30 am
Taken with my iPad
Saturday afternoon, October 13, we saw a Harvest Festival and of course there were pumpkins
hay rides and jumpy houses and even face painting but I didn't get photos
because I didn't know the children.
I did see an adorable little girl whose face was painted like a fox. Too cute
Ooh, such pretty sunsets. The camera on my phone (a Samsung) always struggles to capture the colours.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
Wow - what great sunrise and sunset photos!
ReplyDeletefanatabulous photos!!! and we love the pumpkins... the mama tried to grab one directly through the screen butt it didn't work... hehehe

ReplyDeleteSpectacular pictures. They are both amazing captures.
ReplyDeletethe festival looks like fun and I don't take kids pics either. a couple of times I wanted to and asked permission and emailed the photos to them... I love both sunset and sunrise pics, you and your ipad done good.... for my preferences I prefer sunrise over sunset and I am pretty sure I don't have any sunset photos at all. we go to bed so early I never get to see them, but never miss sunrise. you have beauty at both times right from your very own yard. I love KB's photos to
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your sunset and sunrise! The reflection is fantabulous!!!! Thanks for the kind words!

Oooh, look at all those pumpkins! We don't have any at our house because Momma says I'd eat them. Hello, they're veggies, they're for eating!
ReplyDeleteThe colours of the sky are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe skies are beautiful as I drive home, but I don't want to pull over to take photos! I just want to GET HOME! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI also want to have a zillion pumpkins all over the house, but The Hubby is all, "they rot, and we don't need them!"
Beautiful photos and we see a beautiful Angel Diva too!!!

We've had a few spectacular sunsets around here lately too with the changing weather. As for sunrises? No one is ever up at that time in our house. (We are all night owls because of ghostwriter's work schedule. She usually doesn't get home until about midnight.) We enjoyed seeing all the Fall colors in your harvest festival photos.
ReplyDeleteWow, what beautiful colors HiC!! We thought we would be able to get out and take some pictures while we were here in Texas, but it has been nonstop raining!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Beth & Rosy

Like everyone else said...gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love sunsets too. Moving our son from Washington state to Texas, we saw some incredible sunsets. Our country has amazing landscapes.
ReplyDeleteI’d have to check with you here. Which is not something I usually do! I enjoy reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!
