Back porch ~6:30 am same day photo on the right with flash
Personally I love the reflections on the left
Our neighbor has ligustrum planted along his fence.
Someone (here) loves playing with their extension clippers when they hang over
into our yard. And for fun the frame is because he loves anything with wheels.
Some plants can really smell!
ReplyDeleteGood thing "SOMEONE" has those trimmers! Especially if the plant is stinky!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Those trimmers look very useful, Mom is thinking she needs a pair.
ReplyDeleteOh boy, now you've done it Cecilia- Dad got all excited when he saw the "Tools" in that photo. As it is he was going to Lowes today, but now I fear (as does his company credit card) he'll be returning with much more than what was originally intended. Thanks for that. Oh, but have an awesome weekend. The big guy's feeling better and finally getting back to the most important thing- this blogging stuff. Be well!
ReplyDeleteSorry you have such a stinky plant next door. Love the shadows too.

ReplyDeletePrivet hedges are one of the bane of any asthmatic's existence let me tell you! In Sydney, during spring, the air is redolent with their stink and it really is overwhelming. Go, clipper man!!! I too love the dark shadow shot. YAM xx
Hehehe. Our hobbies all love wheels and tools. It a man thing
ReplyDeleteNow you have us curious how stinky the ligustrum hedges are! Love your new blog header and background☺
ReplyDeleteThe lighting on the first pic is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI love the Ligustrum and the smell, but am probably allergic to the smell now, raised in Savannah they were on every property in the city as hedges.. bob has that same toy, but doesn't use it as much as he used to... he also loves anything with wheels
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful paw prints and the new header! Neighbors... why I'd like to live on an island or in my own little bubble.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about boys and their toys? Our dad loves playing with similar toys.
ReplyDeleteWell, he does love trains, right? :) Never heard of that ligustrum but I'm sure I've seen it.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know our privet bush is related to olive trees. No wonder it has little tiny dark bluish black berries.
ReplyDeleteWe've never heard of ligustrum but we're probably glad we haven't!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
We love your artwork AND your header. Mom doesn't like the smell of our flowering pear trees. We have two and she keeps wishing they would die:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I like the photo without the flash much better. It gives character. I have never heard of that plant, but if it is smelly I don't want to!
ReplyDeleteOur mom is fantasizing about what she could do to our neighbors' invasive Weeping Willow Tree with those trimmers. Shh! Don't tell the neighbors!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We have some smelly plant life in the back of our office. We love the photo without the flash much better also. Thanks for sharing the great photos. Have a wondeful rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
I am not big on outdoor work, but I love our extension clippers. I have a lot of fun cutting down the pussy willows. XO
ReplyDeleteHave we said we love your header? Makes us think that spring may be near
