Hosted by my Niece Rosy, and her 2 brudders Arty and Jakey HERE
Our Hostas nearly came up overnight. For years we tried unsuccessfully to have them
in the ground. A critter ate them. Now we put them in planters no critter troubles.
Our mint has a mind of its own comes up no matter how poorly we treat it or
what critter nibbles on it.
Dearest Aunty HiC
So, this just happened...
Mom: Kat, what in the world are you doing?
Me: Nothing to see here. Just cutting out coupons. Move along, please. 😻

ReplyDeletethe red flower post is absolujtely great! what an eyecatcher!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely spring at your house! I have to laugh at the coupons ... my Mom had a special box for organizing her coupons. I put a coupon from one of Kitty's treat bags in the box and next thing you know, her head is stuck in the box. Can't blame a girl for trying!
ReplyDeleteMom hasn't grown petunias in years. They are such pretty flowers and sticky to touch☺ You are a very good shopper, Kat!
ReplyDeleteI love the scent of petunias!
ReplyDeleteKat is making a good job of looking for coupons.
Those flowers are gorgeous. Kat, what a good boy you are, to cut out coupons for the Mom. Have a really good day.
ReplyDeletethe KAT KOUPON KUTTER is absolutely hilarious!!! I am still smiling as I type... your plants are looking amazing already... good idea to pot them. mothers mint always ran amuck, which is why she loved it. did not realize petunias have a scent.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could grow plants. So pretty. Kat, you are doing an amazing shredding job.
ReplyDeleteThe petunias are beautiful... the yard is beautiful. Kat is funny!
ReplyDeleteGhostwriter always says, don't plant any kind of mint unless you absolutely love it because it will take over the entire garden.
ReplyDeleteMy kitty cat cousins live with a parrot named Echo who loves to do just what Kat is doing.
Have a great Mother's Day weekend!

Hmmm, there have been several attempts to plant hostas here, but for some reason they get "yellow" watered too much:)
ReplyDeleteKat might have to work on finessing his cutting skills - BOL.

Beautiful petunias. And Kat is a cutie. XO
ReplyDeleteWe're glad to hear your hosta are safe in their pots. That Kat is a silly one. Walter would be ripping up the paper if he found it on the ground too.
ReplyDeleteYour hostas were probably victims of slugs. Slugs absolutely love hostas. The pots will discourage them as the plants aren't so convenient to get to ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe love hosta plants too.petunias
ReplyDeleteYour petunias are beautiful
love the colors and mixtures.
Do you have peonies? I would love to grow
some here.
xo Astro and Mitzie
