Recently I rec'd a darling email and video from, Kat, my refine nephew.
Have I mentioned how adorably handsome and sweet Kat is?
Dearest Aunty HiC,
Mom and I are enjoying watching Mr. and Mrs. Wren take care of their babies. I’m still not sure how such a little birdie can make so much noise. 😹
Oh well, think I’ll take a nap.

Dearest Precious Nephew...
Aunty is running late for a very impawtant date with her favorite nephew. OMCs Uncle and I went to the grocery store, unloaded the vittles then we had to get our ears lowered (ask Mom to 'plain that to you), and have lunch.
Oh boy do I hear you about the birdies I think the smaller they are the louder they sing. Thank you for the precious photo and award winning video.
OMCs you have an honest to goodness real live Wren house on the tree too.
Lovingly your Aunty HiC
Happy Flag Day !!!
MOL, what a loudmouth!
ReplyDeleteso great to start a day with bird songs!!! have a wonderful fflag day and a good weekend...
ReplyDeleteThey are loud little birds. We have a pair of blue wrens that pick the bugs off our bricks.
ReplyDeleteKat is such a good correspondent.
ReplyDeleteLove the wren video too.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! YAM xx
For several years in a row we had a pigeon that would perch on top of the storage closet and coo for hours. It drove Bear nuts. But I bet he misses that excitement!
ReplyDeleteWe love the wrens and the way that they constantly flip that long tail.
ReplyDeleteBirds are noisy! We have some living in the gutter of the house and they are soooooo bad! And the mama of the little birdy I caught started screaming every time she saw me come out of the house! A bit much I thought...
ReplyDeleteMiaow from Miss Oswin
We are thankful we don't have noisy birds to wake us up. We have idiots with fireworks to keep us from falling asleep at night.
ReplyDeleteThose wrens are cute little birdies but very noisy. Glad you are enjoying them. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThose little birds certainly make a lot of noise!
ReplyDeleteWe have a wren pair in the barn raising babies. She fusses at us. Constantly feeding them.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the smaller the bird the louder the song. there is a small female mocking bird that sits on top of a street light. when we walk each day she is loud enough to be heard 2 blocks away... and the tiny wrens that live at one house are truly LOUD... Kat is looking adorable as always
ReplyDeleteOh Kat, you look so comfy in your nap! Maybe I need a nip nanner to help me nap!
ReplyDeleteWe are lucky that our two bird houses were occupied with bluebirds when the wren came around so we don't have to listen to their noisy chirping.
ReplyDeleteYou sure are zonked after being squawked awake Kat!
ReplyDeleteYes birds can be very loud, but they are ever so precious. I'm sure you can find a place to nap away from that nest.
ReplyDeleteLove your flag bordered photograph.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Kat. My best to your Auntie. ♥
I would rather have wrens at my house than those crummy grackles!
ReplyDeleteI want to snorgle dat belleh!
ReplyDeleteWhat a silly birdie! We are glad Kat could catch a kitty nap after his early morning wake up tweet!

I'm so sorry the silly burds woke you up so early! They totally can be very noisy, I know.
ReplyDeleteHappy Flag Day! I totally forgot about that. XO

We have a mockingbird that lives across the street and I can hear it when taking the boys outside before bed. Birds are very noisy but lots of fun to watch. Kat has a great view of bird tv.
