Mom and I enjoyed reading our bloggie Furiends comments about my garden adventure. Wish they could all come visit. 😻
Poor Pup had to go to VET. Apparently he’s suffering from seasonal allergies and irritated anal glands! 🙀
I won’t tell you what they did to him, but I am happy to report he’s feeling much better.
❤️ Kat Your Feline Nephew
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Dearest Nephew...
I know exactly what they did to him. My first grandcat,Cali, had a terrible case of anal gland misery her entire life. The Vet offer to show Mom of Cali (MOC)how to express the anal glands but MOC said somethings in life are worth paying for and THIS is one of them. Please give Pup my sincere Aunty Sympathy and tell him Uncle B has allergies so he sends his sympathy for that.
Give that pup some healing kitty kat kisses
Lovingly your Aunty HiC
Knock on wood--I've never had a dog that had that problem. I think I would pay for it, too.
ReplyDeleteoh we hope we never have to stand such a thing... but we remember the huskies who had to see da vet for that... our dad helped the vet and he was the one who left that scene eggs-tremely decorated... that moment you wish your car would turn in a convertible LOL

ReplyDeleteStruth... that's a mental image I could pawhaps have lived without today... But Kat, I quite understand that you were just glad it wasn't you, right? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
I have some vague thought of what exit you're referring to ... and you might be looking the wrong direction, Pup!
ReplyDeleteMom has never had a pup with that problem before. We feel for all involved.
ReplyDeletePoor Pup. That sounds miserable. I'm glad he is feeling much better now.
ReplyDeleteI am glad Pup is doing better. I never had a cat with that issue and if I had I would have been paying somebody else to take care of it too!
ReplyDeletePoor Pup, but some things in life are just worth it. Glad he is better. Have a fabulous day.
ReplyDeleteso glad Pup is feeling better and having had 5 dogs in our lives the past 35 years, we KNOW that gland smell. it is not pretty! you are right about paying for that privilege. ha ha
ReplyDeleteWe're glad Pup is feeling better now. Millie has sympathy for his problem as she has issues with that area of her body too.
ReplyDeletePoor pup indeed. I know exactly what they did to him too and I'd pay to not have to do this as well. I'm glad he's feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update, Kat.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your auntie. ♥
Hope Pup starts feeling better real soon. I have never had problems like that, but my predecessors did.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the vet! I had to see one too and am still not happy about it!
ReplyDeleteMiss Oswin from NL
I know that's miserable for a cat. My Misty had trouble with anal glands when she weighed 23 pounds. I was taking her to the vet every time I turned around. She lost weight and we never had any more problems.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday Everybody!
Poor Pup. We don't think that sounds like much fun!

Ooh! Yucky!
ReplyDeleteWe are familiar with both Pup's problems here...and our Mama is with Aunty C...some things are VERY worth paying for BOL!!

Gail once told me that my predecessor Hamish used to get that anal gland thing, and gosh I am grateful that so far I have had no problems in that department!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
Poor Pup, we hope that vet visit brought him a lot of relief. Poor Ruby, our cousin, has terrible allergies right now. Ears, skin, cough, etc. She sees her vet Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Oh my, we hope that pup is all better now!
ReplyDeleteI agree some things are worth paying for and that is one of them :)
ReplyDeleteEvery now and again, unfortunately, ahem, I have a small problem with those. Mom used to hear my protests!

Ohhhhhh, that doesn't sound like any fun at ALL!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, this certainly does not sound like anything I'd care to have done. Next time give dad a call if you need help. I don't think he'd mind because I've heard mom say something about him having his head up his ass before. Just sayin'.
