Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is our photo challenge
I am not very good a fantasy but you know Me...
I'll try anything once.
Imagine
by Cecilia
In a magical land where fairies and
butterflies hide,
lives Mary a whimsical girl child.
Her mind's eye takes her to places
way up in they sky.
She bids us to join her on the path
to places you and I cannot
IMAGINE.
Today I join
I am thankful for my crazy Mind's Eye...there is no telling what
it will post here and for you all putting up with my craziness!!

While we are imagining......
What would you do?
Yesterday while standing in line at my new favorite store....JoAnn's....
I noticed the lady at the cash register had a sticker about thigh level on her
capris. It was about 4" in diameter.
Questions: Did she know it was there, what was written on it,
should I tell her?
It was sideways so I turned my head a bit just to see if I could read it.
I could read VISITOR on part of it the other words were too small.
Some folks are sensitive/might think one a busy body for asking telling.
I knew I would want to know. When she finished her transaction,
I said excuse me, 'is that sticker supposed to be on the left side of your capris?'
She quickly looked down, started laughing as she said absolutely not.
She went on to say it was on a pair of socks?!?
I thought I threw it away. Well I was pleased I told her; however,
it left me wondering why it would have been on socks.
That mystery will remain a mystery!!
That mystery will remain a mystery!!
we love your poem!!! and we grinned at the sticker story... it's always a challenge... either you are #87 who says: eggscuse me butt you have... or no one says anything (like the day our granny had a part of her skirt in her tights on the back and no one told her ...boy that was so embarrassing LOL)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all - you ROCKED the poetry fun this week....it was a rather magical picture and I just knew there would be some magical poems written! You SAW what I SAW. Secondly that sticker on the capris story is totally hilarious. I sure would have asked about it as well. Strange!

ReplyDeleteWe would have wanted to know about the sticker.
Butterflies are so beautiful! I prefer that someone tells me I've got some sort of apparel malfunction, and I do the same.
ReplyDeleteThat is a sweet poem.
ReplyDeleteThat was funny about the sticker. I would have told the person too.
I love chance piquant meetings like the!
ReplyDeleteWe loved your poem and your sticker story. That lady was probably happy to find it was stuck on her side so she could remove it.
ReplyDeleteYou did so very well with your poem - you have a much better fantasy mind than you think:)
ReplyDeleteThe sticker story is pretty funny - Mom would have been so embarrassed if that happened to her.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
A wonderful poem! I guess a sticker is better than toilet paper ha ha
