FRIENDS

Dear Friends the next to lovely photos are for you too!!

Photos taken on January 11, 2020 it was 71 degrees
Amaryllis is a house plant; however, due to the warm temps they sat them outside.
It was gloriously RED and Standing Proud.

Early in the week of January 27th we had perfect conditions for see
the Moon and Venus.  The show started about 6:15 pm as the sun was setting
top left and bottom left after the sun set, from our driveway
Top and bottom right from the deck. It was such a clear night I could actually see Venus
winking at me.

  9. We love those big red amaryllis flowers. They wouldn't survive outside here in WNY, but we grow them indoors at Christmas.

  10. I checked on Venus last night. Not anywhere near the moon last night though. I think I caught this very shot too. I usually go outside each night to check on the universe.

    Love the flowers. Beautiful.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, honey. Big hug. ♥

  11. The moon and Venus shots are so cool. It's hard for us to think about seeing all those plants out at a garden center. Around here garden centers are closed until spring. Those amaryllis are beautiful.

  13. Ooh, I love to look at the night sky! I've dragged The Hubby out into the country to watch meteor showers enough times, that now he refuses because he hates mosquito bites. My sister lives outside of Cincinnati Ohio, where the solar eclipse will be 100% in 2024, and I've made it quite clear that they are NOT to move or sell that house until AFTERWARD!
