Happy Tuesday

Many years ago there was a contest in the art community in Raleigh, which is the home of the WolfPack aka N. C. State University. I have featured many around the town but kept forgetting this one.

Below are a few of the other Wolves
each wolf is unique and all made from a variety of material

This guy keeps watch over Logan's Seaboard Café area

Below photo is not part of the Art Community Contest
It is made of bronze you can read it at the link below

What a beautiful day to wander around Centennial campus at NCSU. These magnificent wolves are by Dick Idol, NCSU alumni,

The stand guard outside the Roy and Dorothy Park Alumni Center on Centennial Campus. The wolf is NCSU's mascot

  5. Very beautiful work in bronze by Mr. Idol. I bet you did enjoy your day wandering around campus. Thanks for sharing this great art. Seaboard always has some cool things! Good Morning!

  6. I love them. They did catfish in downtown Jackson one year. It was so neat to see the creativity of the artists.

I love all of these - I love that art has taken to the streets so often in recent times... and stayed! YAM xx

  8. I am wracking my brain trying to remember which animal Knoxville had everywhere...creative art...probably 10 or so years ago. I love when towns or organizations do that.

  9. Those special wolves are all very pretty!

  10. these wolves are amazing... so beautiful. My son is crazy about wolves, always has been since he worked for a school semester in a rescue feeding the wolves.

  11. Wow, those are amazing!!!

  17. I love the wolves!!!!! I have been reading books and books about the Yellowstone wolves so wolves are on my mind!

  18. Wow! My sister did a lot of work to help return the wolf to states where it had been hunted back in the 70-80s. Hoooowwwwlll!

  19. I sure would hate to see one of the statues in the dark and not know it was a statue! They really are terrific, though.

Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^=
