Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is our inspiration and my poem
There is no doubt
I love a dress of RED
However, others would surely SHOUT
Hey lady are you lost?
Dressed like that on the beach
is quite a far reach
at least it was not white, like the dress of the mama.. she looked like da sis of da flying dutchman, covered in algues and mud...
ReplyDeleteI don't think she is lost. I think she is waiting for her dance partner to come into shot so they can dance to the beautiful music playing on the radio.

We thought that she was a bit overdressed for the beach too. Love your poem!
ReplyDeleteWe just thought this photo or painting would be a FABULOUS inspiration for poetry - we were right - there are some real goodies posted today for Poetry Thursday! Well done. It certainly is one of those sights that begs for an explanation!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam and Teddy
You can see all kinds of clothing choices on the beach! It's a real fashion show. It's a great photo and I enjoyed your poem, Angel Sammy!
ReplyDeleteWe are back from Anna Maria Island and seeing my gal pal... we had a most wonderful reunion! Good Morning!
C, just ignore... I am confuzzled this morning. Thought I was on Teddy's post. But I still enjoyed your poem! And we are back from Anna Maria and it is still a good morning! RED is the color! Love your new background!
DeleteLOL! I did exactly the same thing on Noelle and Raz' blog!
DeleteNice to know I am not alone!
DeleteYou done Good! I got nothing. just wondering why that radio was so far away and sitting in wet sand
ReplyDeleteIt was an interesting photo and interesting poems!

A very pretty color of red.

ReplyDeleteWell done and yes she's way overdressed for the beach.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, honey. Big hug. ♥
Looks like she's waiting for someone special to come back from over the sea.
ReplyDeletewithout a doubt
ReplyDeleteshe stands out !!
☺☺☺♥♥♥
Great poem. She does look stylish but out of place.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful poem C...and a lovely picture, my imagination has run in so many directions!!
ReplyDeleteThat was great! XO
ReplyDeleteGood poem, maybe she is really lost!
ReplyDeleteI think she has held on too.
ReplyDeleteShe is making a statement showing her wanting to join the wild abandon of the water with her breaking of the bonds of society in her red dress while still tempering her emotion and possibly holding by back listening to the radio which represents the mores of genteel society.
ReplyDeleteHee Hee Sorry I had to go a bit cray cray
Good poem. Everyone who participated has had such different takes on this picture. Quite interesting!
