Very thankful to report I did not need a root canal on tooth #32. I really liked the Dr. D, the endodontist too. X-ray indicated the tooth was healthy. He gave me several tests. The cold sensitive test was most important. He put a very cold instrument on it. A normal tooth will be very sensitive but that will go away. I passed all the tests. He thinks, I might need another bite adjustment from my regular dentist. Some crowns take longer to settle in that others.

Yes, how did we all survive indeed!
ReplyDeleteA few days ago in Duthie Park I saw two children, age about ten, climbing a tree. They were quite high up. A sight that would have been unremarkable in my childhood but caught my attention this week because it's something one so rarely sees.
Cheers, Gail (Who never had a pogo stick but did plenty of crazy things on her bicycle).
that's a good question ;O)))) ...and we are happy that your dentist had such good news for you... the mama hopes to get good news too, our wallet would be super happy LOL
ReplyDeleteLove your poem! I never did the pogo stick but my brother did. I'm so happy that you avoided the root canal!

ReplyDeleteYay for the tooth... and I had a pogo stick and loved it!!! I don't recall ever having any major fall, but then again, I was a gymnast as a youngster. YAM xx
Glad you didn't need root canal surgery. I never got the hang of pogo sticks, just the bruises.
ReplyDeleteThe best news on #32! I'm with you on your poem about the pogo stick. I did have one but spent my time veering off to one side and putting my foot down to stop the craziness!
ReplyDeleteGreat news!
ReplyDeletelol...I survived because my father never got us a pogo stick!
Great job Cecilia and that's fantastic news about the tooth too!
ReplyDeleteyay for the tooth good news!!! so happy for you. I never had a pogo and to this day have never seen one, only on tv, movies and now internet. i did have friends that rode uni cycles. good job on the prompt today.. i noticed the dress right away. back when they made this ad, little girls wore dresses all the time, or they did in the world i grew up in
ReplyDeleteThat really is good news about your tooth so hopefully all will be fine soon. That's a cute poem too. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteWe're glad you didn't need the root canal job on your tooth and hope it will feel better soon. We love your poems. Our mom didn't have a pogo stick but had definitely used a friends pogo stick a few times. She had fun and doesn't recall any injuries, thankfully.
ReplyDeleteI remember pogo sticks! I also remember climbing trees, biking without a helmet, and lots of scraped knees too!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Fabulous! Oh so true too - imagine today if pogos were popular you'd have to wear knee pads, helmets, elbow pads, and probably wouldn't even be able to MOVE much less stay on a pogo stick! Also happy to hear #32 is behaving itself perfectly!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
really great news on the root canal !!!!! YOW !!!!!! and great job with this week's poem too....had a pogo stick and it took ...eons.... in my minds eye...to learn how to use it :) ☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update on your tooth. It's good when you pass all the tests.
ReplyDeleteLove your poem and I never had a pogo stick either. I guess I didn't want one. I had enough crashes on my bicycle.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, my friend. Big hug. ♥
That was a really fun poem and word play. So glad your tooth passed the test. They are good to keep
ReplyDeleteI never had a pogo stick either...but also did crazy things on my bike!
ReplyDeleteYay for no root canal!!!
Great poems. And yay for no root canal! XO
ReplyDeleteGreat poem! Oh so scared of the dentist. Yay that no root canal was needed. Woo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteWhat great news about your tooth! Are you looking for a different dentist?
ReplyDeleteNo helmets. I remember when all the kids first started wearing them to even ride their bikes (long after my own kids were grown) I thought it was crazy. Now it seems to be the norm.
Thank goodness no root canal! Ewww. Great news!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that about the pogo stick. I tried one time. That took care of that for me...forever! XX
I wonder "How did I ever survive" many times. We used so much less safety gear back then. I love your poem!
ReplyDeleteGreat news. I am glad you avoided the big pain.
ReplyDeleteOh, Ma wanted to tells you that your dentist is absolutely right ~ it will feel better soon. My 'Navy Dentist' explained that the nerves sometimes need time to 'retract' back from the surface or somethings like that 😉. Ma's new filling is just now getting better, and has almost no discomfort or sensitivity anymore. It was about 4 months. Anyhu, sendin' some AireZens and {{hugs}} cause Ma said dental pain is the worst! BOL!
