Thank you to our
While on my MMW (mid morning walk) on September 24, I was about to pass Cody's Spot. Photo from our last encounter about a week ago
I was later than usual. I thought maybe he was back in the house.
However, I rounded the corner I saw Cody in a new spot.

This Sparks is about a human being but I truly think it perfectly describes seeing Cody the Grand Patriarch of the 'hood. Each time I see Cody he 'rekindles my inner spirit.'
that is a heart warming spark and we love it!!! maybe cody has a clock inside and it was no longer street time but porch time?
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely Spark. Cody thought no-one else was coming along for him to say good morning to so went back on porch guard.
ReplyDeleteWe should all be thankful, indeed. Wonderful stuff. Cody's Castle is gorgeous, and that lush landscaping- second only to Cody, of course- would be a treasure to see every morning
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful SPARK because it is TRULY TRUE. When we run out of "soul energy" it just takes a kind word or a smile or even a hug to charge us back up. Then WE have the energy to charge someone else back up and so on and so on. Everyone needs an energy re-charge once in a while. Your friend Cody is quite the neighborhood fixture - a happy boy.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
I love the quote. Cody is such a beautiful boy, he would spark love in me too.
ReplyDeletethis is the best spark i have seen in a long long time and so very true. last week, i had just a five minute conversation with the pharmacist, he is such a nice young man. it was not about RX but a real talk. it lifted my spirits. and stopping to talk with a neighbor just for a few minutes is this spark.. bob and i were just as i started to read your post, talking about how much we need to see other people... in person, and a big ps from me is all meetings with dogs are my spark.
ReplyDeleteMaybe mid-morning is Cody's porch time! I think your Spark works in a lot of ways. People give my spirit a boost as do animals and often it is little things that do it also. Like some kind of serendipitous moment. Another good Spark to start a new week!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!

ReplyDeleteWhat a heart-lifting Monday post... so glad Cody was just in a different spot... YAM xx
Love the Spark and love Cody too. I'd be on the lookout for him too. He's most handsome.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug, my friend. ♥
I loved seeing this and getting to meet Cody. I understand fully how you feel about him and how he, all of us, are connected by that spark. XX
ReplyDeleteGreat Spark and we love seeing Cody.

Cody is such a sweetie. We can see why you enjoy meeting him on your morning walks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he noticed you are spying on him, so he is trying to hide himself?
ReplyDeleteThat really is a good Spark. I'll bet you were worried when you didn't see Cody in his usual spot.
ReplyDeleteWe love today's spark and Cody looks so comfy hanging out in different spots for a change.
