Recently I shared a heron on the deck just on the right side of this picture. A few days later I saw a heron fishing. This photo almost looks like a water color!
how great that you saw this heron at work... they remind me of the men who sit and wait for a fish... but the heron needs no equipment for the price of a middle class car hahahaha
it does look like a water color and you should take it in lunapic and do their watercolor and it will look like a painting. Lead Mine Lake is a strange name for a beautiful place, is there lead in the water?
We watch them fish often when we're on our boat. They are ever so patient and slow moving. Right up until they catch the fish and then they are lightening fast.

Both pictures are very pretty. I made the first one BIGGER and it was a treat to see Mr. GBH all hunkered down waiting for a snack! It does look like a watercolor... very very pretty! Lead Mine Lake is a gift!

ReplyDeleteNice to see the heron waiting for his breakfast.
ReplyDeleteWe love Lead mine Lake and love the heron too.
ReplyDeleteI think that heron was waiting for a fish to be CLOSE so he could just dip his head down and capture it - EASY PEASY!
