All of today's photos are from early October when we took a trip to Cedar Creek Gallery
Cedar Creek Gallery is located in Creedmoor, NC
a lovely rural part of NC, which used to be referred to as the middle of nowhere. Years ago there were many farms along the route. Many old barns are still proudly standing. We do find ourselves in the middle nowwhere.
we love the photos and the spark ... it's all a question of da pawspective...
ReplyDeleteI love old barns. In the Netherlands they are torn down the minute they are not used anymore: make way for progress!

What a wonderful SPARK and it really is VERY true. Old barns - there are tons of them around here out in the country - sometimes they look like they're about to fall down but they just keep standing there - proud and strong.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
The trees would appear to be taking over!
ReplyDeleteWe love the old barns and the wonderful spark!

ReplyDelete...everywhere is somewhere and can never be nowhere... YAM xx
I love the country. Put me in the middle of nowhere anytime. BEAUTIFUL, last picture. I love all the mixed colors and textures.
ReplyDeleteLove the old barn. Reminds me of the Barn Charm photo hop I used to do on my old blog Rural Rambles. You know I loved checking out Creedmore on the internet. Your Spark speaks to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm like JR above. Put me in the middle of Nowhere any time. I like it there!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful Spark and we love the country views too!
ReplyDeleteI love these buildings all snuggled in the trees. gorgeous pics
ReplyDeleteThose are all lovely pictures from the "middle of nowhere". There sure are lots of different barns to photograph.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quote. I would have loved to come along with you. Then we could eat at your favorite place.

Such beautiful photos today, C! The "middle of nowhere" is always my favorite place to travel!
ReplyDeleteGreat new header!!
The middle of nowhere is the only place for real peace and quiet.
ReplyDeleteWe are good at finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere and we are nowhere a lot :)
ReplyDeleteWe live in the middle of nowhere too! It is purrfect for being able to see the stars at night (even though we have had clouds every night for the last couple of weeks).
ReplyDeleteIt is still so green there! It should be winter here but it isn't yet. I certainly understand the quote about finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere. It could be interpreted in at least 2 ways. I like them both!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. We see a lot of that type of scenery around here, too.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful view out that window! I'd be gazing out instead of getting my work done!
