Sparks and Awww Monday

All of today's photos are from early October when we took a trip to Cedar Creek Gallery

Cedar Creek Gallery is located in Creedmoor, NC
a lovely rural part of NC,  which used to be referred to as the middle of nowhere. Years ago there were many farms along the route. Many old barns are still proudly standing.  We do find ourselves in the middle nowwhere.

  2. I love old barns. In the Netherlands they are torn down the minute they are not used anymore: make way for progress!

  3. What a wonderful SPARK and it really is VERY true. Old barns - there are tons of them around here out in the country - sometimes they look like they're about to fall down but they just keep standing there - proud and strong.

  8. Love the old barn. Reminds me of the Barn Charm photo hop I used to do on my old blog Rural Rambles. You know I loved checking out Creedmore on the internet. Your Spark speaks to me!

  20. We live in the middle of nowhere too! It is purrfect for being able to see the stars at night (even though we have had clouds every night for the last couple of weeks).

  21. It is still so green there! It should be winter here but it isn't yet. I certainly understand the quote about finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere. It could be interpreted in at least 2 ways. I like them both!

  22. This is lovely. We see a lot of that type of scenery around here, too.

  23. You have a wonderful view out that window! I'd be gazing out instead of getting my work done!
