Wolf Moon rising over our cul-de-sac, January 17, 2022.

Earlier this week, while scrolling through the pictures on my iPad,  I  found some photos of this handsome kitty.  He was  lounging on the back porch.  I don't remember when I took them.  Everything was green so I expect it was late spring early summer. I never saw him again.

  2. Your moon photo from earlier this week is magnificent. (The moon was spectacular here that night too, but Gail's camera phone is just not up to the task).
    What a pretty kitty too.
    Wonder what became of him?

  6. I have been viewing the wolf moon each morning, it appears at 4 am to be hanging from the branches in our pine tree, when at the breaking of day, Beau and i walke with it smack dab in the middle of the street hanging in the sky. so beautiful. it is so easy to see it when the sky is breaking first light. one morning we were a little later and the sun was breaking behind us and the wolf moon was in front of us. hope the kitty is ok and was just visiting from his home. next time let him in and keep him. he is so cute

  7. The Wolf Moon has been spectacular here also. I woke during the night and thought Ivor had left a light on, it was shining so brightly through the bedroom curtains.

  8. Those are both cool sky pictures. Too bad the kitty didn't stay longer he/she might have become the new resident of your home.

  12. Beautiful sunset and moon rise shots! We have a kitty that occasionally visits at the back door of the nursing home. We don't know if he's a feral cat, or is somebody's kitty taking a little walk. We keep some cat food available to give him when he shows up, which he accepts gratefully. But he won't let anybody catch him.

  15. Terrific sky shoots! Mom wanted to see the full wolf Moon, but it clouded up JUST BEFORE the moon rose (and it has been cloudy and foggy ever since). I hope your kitty visitor was an inside cat escapee and is back safe in their house!
