Serene Sun(ny)day

Surprise find...in my late November folder.
Mom is of the must have a phone in my hand generation.  She stopped
mid walk to text or read something.
Nuttin' is important as your undivided attention when you are walking with your human and furry family.  The pup is obviously accustomed to this he was patient.

A gorgeous scene - marred by that thing which tends to boil my blood a bit... apparently it is life or death to leave the phone behind for even an hour (or away from the table where conversation ought to be happening!) May yours be a fone-free Sunday. YAM xx

  2. It really annoys me to see people walking along with their noses stuck in their phones and not having a clue what is around them. To be fair, that person has stopped and may have been expecting a text. What is wrong with ringing though and speaking to the other person!

  3. I wear my phone when walking Beau in case I need to call for help or and emergency. other than that while walking Beau I don't take photos. i used to when Bob was with me. I never read a text or answer a call while walking or driving. and have never and never will talk on the phone in Walmart or a doctor office. I was leaving the phone in the car but am afraid of theft. i put it on mute when in public spaces. the photo is really nice and what a great dog and pretty too. late Nov and she is dressed like i dress for summer, I am thinking it must have been cold. tis a beautiful spot to walk and your view is spectacular

  4. If you blow up the picture you can see that the pup was watching you take his picture. It's too bad that people can't just enjoy being out in nature and not get distracted by there phone. Maybe the mom is a world class surgeon who is being called in to work. Then I could excuse her distraction.

  5. Looks like a beautiful place for a walk, too bad she would rather be looking at the phone instead of enjoying the beauty around her.

  6. I think most dogs are use to posing these days! Your birthday tulips remind me of spring - it is coming someday!

  9. It really irks me when I see people out with their children, and they are doing that instead of enjoying their kids. XO

  10. I DO walk with a phone. I fall down. I figure if I have my phone, I can always call Alex and tell him, "I've fallen and I can't get up!"
Actually I try to take a photos at the same time of day in the same place. The progression of the seasons and year to year is very interesting.

  12. Ah yes....cellphoneitis is a "condition" we see everywhere. We were out to dinner the other night and a family of five came in and were seated across from us in a booth. They sat down, got out their phones and every single one of them was attached to the phones and NEVER SAID A WORD to each other. Even when the server came to get their orders they held their phones and watched them while they gave their order. Amazing. Also quite sad in a way.

    Hugs, Pam
