Thoroughly Poetic and Thankful Thursday #123

Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy

Here is today's inspiration

I'm king of the Jungle
so they say

I'm fierce and mighty
so they say

One slap with my paw
or a snap from my jaw
is lethal
so they say

This king of the jungle
 climbed the tree to keep
an eye on every single creature.
Now I'm wedged between two limbs.

My tummy is full
my mighty paws are suspended
my lethal jaws are NOT

There will be no
SLAPPING or SNAPPING
only NAPPING
TODAY
So I say

Kat, Rocky, Kit and David
arrived home at 3:10 pm yesterday.
Kat and Rocky promptly jumped up on Kit's dresser for a
long stretch and nap.
Angel Pup is home surrounded by family angels who came before him.

  10. Good to hear that they are home! It's been a journey and it had/has to be a roller coaster of emotions. Sending them warm thoughts and prayers while they work through this very emotional and difficult time.
