Thank you to our
Dear SeeSEALya (that is Dachshund speak for Cecilia)
Last Thursday, as you might remember,
Mom and I took a grand adventure. It was time for Joy the Jeep's annual check up
JOY passed her inspection. She got her tires rotated and her oil & filter changed all her fluids are filled up and she got greased.
As you can see, I ERNIE had a great time. 🐾🐾. Mom only took 2 pics of me with my MULTIPLE Adoring Fans. I made them all feel 💙SPECIAL giving them my undivided attention.
In case the above is too small I said,
Kind sirs, please finish with Joy in a timely manner...we are going to the magic window at BOOGER King 👑 for Chicken Fries
I highly recommends them as a special treat
Respectfully submitted,
Ernie the Retired Attorney
PS please tell all my friends
Hallo or Hello

Hearing from Ernie is just such a brilliant start to the week. We are thrilled that he got to visit to Booger King and hope the fries met expectations!
ReplyDeletePlease say to him from Gail and me. (I never knew Ernie but Gail says that my predecessor Bertie greatly valued his legal advice and Gail smiles whenever she thinks of his past blogging activities.)

ReplyDeleteAh, oh, whee: what an absolute delight to see ERNIE ... HALLO/WOOF/Woof and Happy Christmas to you, you dear pupper and all your wonderful family, always loved, always missed.
ReplyDeleteMom used to take one of us to the car place sometimes but it is pretty boring and none of us have been there is quite a while. Maybe we should go next time. We stopped in for a light the other day, but we all stayed in the car while they got it turned off.
ReplyDeleteI do not know Ernie but Ernie is darling. I am a lover of Dachshunds and was owned by one for several years back in the late '60s and early '70s. Your Spark today is so true. And isn't it wonderful that it is indeed enough? Your Spark is the beginning of my week!
ReplyDeleteI love your holiday header! I don't know Ernie either, but my gosh, he's adorable. That's a lovely spark too, the perfect thing for the start of my work week and for this season. :-)
ReplyDeleteAwww, you're a cutie pie indeed. Great to see you, Ernie. You made me laugh out loud with Booger King though.

ReplyDeleteDearest Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteLovely story about Ernie and happy that the car's checkup was all good.
We had ours done also recently.
My first pet was a miniature black and tan Dachshund girl, she immigrated with us to the USA.
Hugs,
Mariette
A purrfect pup, a purrfect snack and a purrfect Spark too!
ReplyDeleteYou are a good helper Ernie. Great spark. XO
ReplyDeleteI bet everyone there loved you.
ReplyDeleteErnie I bet you are enjoying being retired. Being an attorney is no small job these days! I am wondering if our BOOGER King has chicken fries because that sounds mighty tasty. Mom is going to check that out. Happy Holidays Ernie!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Teddy
This was a wonderful adventure! Now I know, also, the next time I dog-sit one of my grand-dogs, to go to that magic food window and just what treat to get.
ReplyDeleteOMD, it's the legendary Ernie! Angel Lexi has told me about you!! How wonderful to meet you, and see you are still holding to your high standards of Booger King food. Your new friend, Xena
